Even though the weather conditions were not perfect the tour definitely worth it! We have visited 3 of monasteries = for the others we have to come back))) Off-season has own privileges: places are not crowded, you can enjoy sightseeing in quiet.

Awe inspiring experience - Stacy’s commentary was clear and informative as she took us on a journey from the first cave hermits to the majestic monasteries built with stone and faith on top of the rocks. The tour at midday was for four people and we saw all 6 active monasteries visiting the interior of 3. Highly recommended

A must see site!! - Small group, personal attention, friendly and informative leader. Very educational, interesting history. To see active monasteries is rare. The scenery was spectacular!

A wonderful day - A wonderful day. Stathis and Stephany ( if I remember her name correctly) made sure we were happy and safe though out the day. I recommend this trip as the views are amazing. They really made sure we enjoyed our trip.

A journey among the heavens - It is difficult to say what was a favorite part. Each aspect of the visit, each monastery, offered its own charms, beauty, and insights. The most significant aspect of the tour was the fact that our guide was astonishing. She was informed, interesting, considerate, and exceeded all our expectations. Our driver was also excellent.

stunning experience! - Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Chrysa, was so accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Driver was very safe and skilled. We stopped multiple times for incredible views and photo opportunities. Plenty of time in each monastery with lots of information and look-fors. Make sure to wear comfortable footwear as there's lots of steps and an opportunity to climb rocks for photos/views. Thanks, Meteora Rocks!

friendly, time efficient - small group of 7 of us so we were able to avoid the huge tourist buses and crowds
pick up from train station was easy and quick. The guide and driver are mindful of the time so as to make sure we saw all monasteries and viewpoints before the train back. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable.She even lent my a scarf to cover my legs as the monasteries require a skirt.

Must do - The history that the tour guide shared was amazing. The stops for pictures was also very nice. Shoes are a must since you will be climbing steps.
