The standard duration for ascending Mount Ararat is typically four days, although some individuals manage the climb in a shorter timespan of three days. Please note that all distances and elevations are approximated since there are no markers present. We facilitate all necessary gear for this journey including tents, sleeping bags, pickaxes, handheld lamps, specialized clothing for mountain climbing, and suitable footwear.

You will be accompanied by a certified, professional local guide who will be responsible for preparing all three meals daily, along with tea. Moreover, we handle the procurement of official clearances from both state and local governing bodies on your behalf.

Keep in mind that this expedition is strenuous and isn’t suited to everyone. It is advised to undergo pre-climb training, and if you have a fairly good level of fitness, we can guide you on a comprehensive training plan that corresponds with the duration your permit takes to be processed. All your luggage and camping equipment is transported on horses and mules during the hike; you’ll only have to handle what you need immediately for personal use.
