Highlights
  • Treis Elies - In my workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to view a variety of significant dye-producing plants and a collection of textiles colored with these dyes. I’ll dedicate time to educate you about the heritage and artistry of natural dyeing, its connection to the indigenous plants, and the Cypriot folk textile customs. We’ll derive pigments from a couple of local or seasonal botanicals. Additionally, I’ll demonstrate a basic tie-dye method that echoes an enigmatic, bygone custom from a village in Cyprus. You’ll have the chance to craft a vibrant silk handkerchief to keep as a memento.
What's Included
  • Tea and coffee
