Amazing tour with all the highlights of Transylvania with a fantastic guide - This tour was simply amazing. My guide Gabriel was the best guide I could have wished for. He knows so much about Romanian history, culture, architecture and nature. It was just unbelievable! I learned so much during the tour. Although it was a very busy holiday period, I didn't have to wait anywhere. Gabriel organized everything, so I didn't have to wait in the queue. His English is perfect and he also has a great sense of humor, which made the trip even more fun. The program is quite busy but it didn't feel like a rush. I had enough time to explore the beautiful cities and castles. The bear watching was also amazing. I saw four brown bears: 2 adults and 2 youngster. They came quite close to the observatory hut! The hotel was perfect as well: the rooms were clean, spacious and the breakfast very good. On the way back to Bucharest Gabriel decided to take another road to avoid traffic jams, which made us drive through real rural Transylvania. The views were splendid! For a solo traveler making this kind of trip can be quite expensive (no sharing of costs), but for me it was definitely worth the money. It was an amazing experience and I would never have been able to see and learn as much during my stay in Romania if I would have been traveling by my own with public transportation and without such a great guide. Little advice: bring a little bit more than the advised €15 on the trip for entrances, food&drinks and souvenirs.
