Once you come out of Hagia Sophia, just right opposite the Hagia Sophia

1500 hundred year old Hagia Sophia church was used as the cathedral of Constantinople for nearly thousand years . And 500 years as a mosque during the Ottoman time untill 1935 . Then it was used as a museum untill 2018 . Right now it is used as a mosque . It has a magnificent dome that you will admire and you will see both Christian and Muslim figures together.

The meeting point is right in front of the ticket office for Hagia Sophia mosque ( partly used as museum right now ) .
They have changed the main entrance for visitors . So ticket office is right in front of the first and huge gate of topkapi palace museum - don’t pass through the gate please

BEST HAGIA SOPHIA GUIDED TOUR - Great introduction of Hagia Sophia with Fuat ! It was our first time in istanbul and Fuat made our trip more enjoyable. We looked for Hagia Sophia guided tours , then we found him ! we are happy to have met him to learn about such a great place of worship 1500 hundred year old . If it wasn’t him we would not understand the historical difference between ottoman and Roman Empires on Hagia Sophia . Highly recommend to join a private Hagia Sophia guided tour with Fuat !!! You won’t regret it !

Visit to Hagia Sophia with Fuat - Fuat was a truly great guide ! He had excellent knowledge about Hagia Sophia as an expert . The first thing that scared us was the ticket queue. But Fuat let us in without waiting in line and we learnt so much about the city Thanks again .

Great professional tour guide - Fuat showed up on time. He made all arrangements and ensured that we were able to enter places quickly. We saw the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace, the cisterns but skipped the blue mosque as our feet were finished.
He was polite and friendly and willingly shared his knowledge, answering all our questions patiently.
He taught us to use trams and took us to a good Australian priced restaurant which had great Turkish food.
We asked him to slow the pace and he willingly accommodated us.
I highly recommend him for sightseeing and restaurant facilitation.
At the end of the tour he saw us back to our hotel.
We wish him well.

Insightful Tour of Istanbul’s Iconic Places - My family and I had an opportunity to tour the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar with Fuat on our recent visit to Istanbul in October 2022. It was such an insightful experience, and Fuat shared so much history about these iconic places and Turkish history. Such a personable tour guide and wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!

2nd time round but Istanbul is still amazing! - Our tour guide Fuat was wonderful. This was a second time visiting the same sights of Istanbul but first for our friend. Nothing like a refresher of how HG has changed it’s status but the history remains. A bit sad that certain areas of HG r no longer accessible and the Blue Mosque continue to be under constant renovation

Terrible - They canceled it because the weather at the last minute (the day was sunny with 20 degrees, perfect weather). When I contacted the tour supplier they told me that Viator continued selling the tour that day although the supplier had already said to Viator it was sold out. We lost the day and we couldn't see the monument, it made us upset.
