Highlights
  • Chateau de Chenonceau - The Chateau of Chenonceau is the most visited castle in the Loire Valley. It is unique for many reasons. It is nicknamed “the ladies chateau” because Its owners had only been women. It has gorgeous Renaissance gardens. It is set like a bridge across the Cher River.
  • Caves Ambacia - You will enjoy a guided tou and wine tating at Caves Duhard where you will have a cheese and wine tasting in a limestone cave winery on white wines
  • Chateau de Chambord - You will discover the Hunting lodge built by King Francois I, it is the largest chateau and the most spectacular piece of architecture. You will be impressed by its 426 rooms and its 282 fireplaces. Your tour guide will show and explain it’s mind blowing double helix staircase, probably a Leonardo da Vinci creation. The forest in which it is in is a national game reserve.

Amazing trip! - Charline was an excellent guide! We ended up by ourselves on this tour, so it became a private tour! Charline was very knowledgeable and not very overwhelming! We would highly recommend this trip and Charline!

Fabulous day with an amazing guide! - This tour was great and Marion is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! While the locations on the tour are beautiful and very interesting, Marion’s knowledge was what made the day perfect for me. She is truly an expert in the region, the sites, and all the French history that goes with it. I loved how she told the stories of the sites and I felt much more informed than the other tour groups and the audio tour individuals we passed. It was a truly wonderful tour and Marion is a rockstar!

Most do! - Well design tour. Christian makes this wonderful stories around every corner visited in the palaces. He's an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and very dedicated to attend everybody needs. The group was a small one and exceptional! I wished the castle will stay open longer to have more time to wander around, but the goal of the tour is achieved! Totally recommended.

Great visit to the Loire region - I usually like doing visits by myself, but on this occassion I took the tour because the castles are not that close to one another and I did not want to rent a car. Im so glad I did it, the visit to the castles wouldn't have been as interesting as they were with all the history and anecdotes so well conveyed by our tour guide Marion. She was excellent, with all the knowledge and added good storytelling to make it interesting, as well as very nice. The castles were incredible and the experience at the cave with luncheon there was very nice. Everything was on time and I had a great time. I definately recommend it.

Wonderful day trip! - Great seeing the two chateaus and wine tasting in Amboise. Didn’t leave much time for pictures and each chateau but was overall a perfect way to see the Loire Valley. Thanks!

Great tour! - Our guide Christian was great-he had loads of great information and funny stories. The whole day was smooth and easy for us with nothing to worry about other than getting to the pick up location (which was easy)! It was the best way to see the Chateaux and Caves, as we could ask all the questions we wanted and didn't have to wait in any lineups. We would highly recommend this tour!

A little less guiding would make this tons better - The chateaux were incredible but don’t expect to actually see much. You’re held captive by the longest stories ever (and honestly with quite a lot of foul language so don’t bring your kids or your mom). Often these stories are told in the most boring rooms, with one informational sign and nothing else to look at — so you’re forced to just stand in one place, staring at your guide demonstrating different types of bows. The wine tasting was fine, but it’s a cave staff member and not the tour guide so maybe that’s why.
