- Cathedrale Saint-Gatien - The Saint-Gatien cathedral presents a very complete set of French religious architecture from the 12th to the 16th century. The base and foothills of the towers are Romanesque, the general ornamentation is pure gothic, radiant and flamboyant, and the summits of the two towers are in the Renaissance style of the early sixteenth century. She has an exceptional jewel: her stained glass collection. The most beautiful, dazzling, adorn the chapels of the ambulatory and the high windows of the choir. It is one of the most perfect sets of the thirteenth century (stained glass medallions) existing in Europe, complete, intact, multicolored, very varied. We must add the two roses of the transept, the fourteenth century, as well as those of the nave and the facade, the fifteenth. Another beautiful 15th century stained glass window adorns one of the south aisle chapels.

A fun surprise for my wife and a good time for both. - Our guide was great, very personable and interested in what we wanted to see, while also providing a few surprises we had no prior ideas about. He made sure we were safe and comfortalble and actually gave us a bit more than we expected. This was my wife’s first time in a motorcycle sidecar and she loved it, got a lot of smiles from women on the street. If you go, ask to see the Troglodytes - amazing!

A must do tour of Tours! - This is the most fun way to see Tours.
One hour of fun and site seeing.
My husband pillion and me in the sidecar and swapping half way. We saw the old city and all the sites and laughed the whole way and our guide William was great.
