- Torquay Surf Lifesaving Club - Travellers will partake in a one on one private surf lesson. The lesson has a duration of 2 hours with all equipment provided. We do private surf lessons for participants ranging from first time to advanced. We have experience and highly qualified surf coaches who will do their utmost to provide an enjoyable and educated private surf lesson for our participants, giving them all the knowledge and skills they will need to improve their surfing and have fun while doing it!

Additional Information
This session is designed to accommodate everyone, from beginners to advanced surfers. Whether you’re a novice or an established competitor, there’s always something to gain. Our personal surfing lessons are tailored to each participant’s experience, talent and requirements. We boast a team of real surf coaches who deliver authentic surf training. Private sessions are two hours long and include all necessary equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own. In the course of the session, the coach will inspect your board to ensure it’s suitable and will help you improve. A great advantage of private sessions is the flexibility to scout for the best waves and conditions on the day.

The Best Fun - So much fun. Kev got my level but challenged me to get the most out of our two hours together. I felt safe and supported by him and really built a strong foundation as someone just starting out. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing experience - Had the most incredible time catching some beautiful waves at Torquay beach, myslelf and my partner got stuck in traffic on way down and we were 30mins late but they were very accommodating and made our experience feel at ease, friendly and helpful staff with a smile. The lessons were great, would Recommend doing an early morning lesson as it was very busy at12:30 session. cannot wait to go back down soon and so it all over again

Invest in yourself to improve your skills - I’m an experienced surfer with 30 years in the water. Kevin was able to point out really helpful tips to help fine tune my skills. We got on waves with challenging conditions. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or experienced surfer, I’d highly recommend a private lesson from Torquay Surf Academy.

Best two hours in Torquay! - Booked two hour lesson and I wasn't sure if I will be able to get anything out of it as I am not a good swimmer. But Brad, our instructor was very kind and helpful. He made sure we were safe and learning in best possible way. H e explained the basics very clearly which gave us good exposure to surf easily. By the end one of us was able to stand on the surfing board while I was able to get on my knee. We are happy to have selected Torquay Surf academy and will recommend to anyone who wish to learn the most in a day. You should book online a day prior as lessons begin at 10am.

Experienced and friendly coaches - Top class lesson - coaches really knowledgeable and able to breakdown what I needed to work on to progress.

Great place to start off your surfing adventure! - This lesson brought back my interest in surfing. The basics were well and properly taught out - Kevin was a great instructor and I could get a few surfs up even as a beginner. Will be back for more.
