The Gin Nest is the top gin-producing attraction in Torbay.
Under expert guidance, participants get to create a custom-made gin using a classic copper pot still. We offer drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, throughout the event, and each participant gets a 500ml bottle of their personally-distilled gin as a keepsake.
The experience can be customised to fit any occasion, and we accept both solo and group reservations.

The Gin Nest is located inside 'The Wine Box' which is a shop on Woodland Road. When driving up the hill you will see a sign for 'Tolchards,' with a car park that has a metal pole fence. Please drive / walk into this carpark and you will see the shop. It is directly opposite 'Smart Build Supplies.'

It was gin-credible - My partner took me on a surprise trip to Torquay for my birthday to the gin making experience - it was amazing! From learning how gin is made, to choosing our flavours, we came away with our own unique bottle. Paul was great! very knowledgable and made the session engaging! I would recommend this experience to anyone, whether as a couple or in a group. Thank you very much!

Amazing - This was an excellent birthday present.
Two of us made a bottle of gin. We were lucky and only one other person doing the experience.
Andy was very helpful about which botanicals work or would be overpowering.
Started with a complimentary drink at the bar, whilst making and after.
Fascinating experience and delicious gin at the end!

Excellent experience close to Torquay - Amazing experience and customer service. Offered us a coffee on arrival. Good tuition for first time gin makers. They also came round with a couple of gins to drink during the brewing. Close to Torquay and easily commutable. Very memorable. You even get to name your own gin to take home.

Happy (gin) Days!!! - What a fantastic experience. This was bought for me as a birthday treat and my sister and I and our daughters had a great time. It is such a lovely environment and the gin-making was us actually making a gin containing our favourite ingredients (sorry botanicals!). We went on 4th Feb so we haven’t tasted our gins just yet. Looking forward to having our own tasting of all 5 gins!!!
If you want something special, this is it. Oh and there also is a fantastic wine shop.

We won! - Following a wine tasting event at Labrow's Bistro we were fortunate enough to win the quiz for a gin experience event. Absolutely superb. Interesting, entertaining and great setting.
Beyond that, the adjacent Wine Box has an outstanding range of wines. Everything good value. Delightful crew. 🇬🇧🇳🇿
