The best of Toronto Tour really was the best! - Wow, what a great host McKenzie was for our girls weekend in Toronto! He had done his homework and accomodated all our wishes for an interesting mix of esoteric sight seeing and finding interesting local food experiences that accommodated all our food needs including gluten free diet. The food and drink choices were diverse, plentiful and fun!
We appreciated the passion that was shown for the city and it unique food offerings

Nice but not what we expected - We booked the 5 hour In-car, food & sightseeing tour. I was happy to find an option that would allow us to experience Toronto without a large amount of walking as I have health issues that limit my mobility. Overall, it was good, but not great. There was a large amount of food that was varied and the guide went out of his way to try to find some options for dishes that we had wanted to try. The food quality was nice and everything was tasty. But some of the places that we went to seemed like chain restaurants or tourist traps. They didn't all appear to be the hidden gems we were interested in trying. But we did not leave hungry. Nothing was pre-arranged so he waited in line to order whatever we were having but he never offered any drink options so we had to ask for water several times. It seemed to me like he had been instructed not to offer anything we didn't ask for but I could not say for sure. Also, I'd say this sightseeing tour was light on the sightseeing. I expected a guide that was knowledgeable about the city and could tell us about the history and point out important places. But he said very little as we drove from one destination to another. He did not suggest nor offer a single photo opportunity. I don't think he knew the city very well because he needed to rely on the GPS and it was giving him trouble so there was a point where I offered to use mine. We really liked him though and he was certainly trying his best. He even went 30 minutes past our allotted time and dropped us off at our next destination to save us an Uber. But for nearly $600 for two people, we were hoping for a bit more.
