Very good - This is a vast interesting museum. Be prepared for lots of walking and achy feet. There are many interesting things to see for most ages, best for children over age 5.

Great Experience. Lots of things to do - A great museum with a nice layout. There are more than enough artifacts and exhibits on display to keep you entertained for hours. My Personal Favourite was the wildlife photography exhibit. Great Experience overall

A must visit. - It’s a very nice museum with a nice layout and flow. I never felt over crowed, even with an elementary school there on a trip. Nice information and loved the holistic approach of the audio tour.

Wildlife photography special exhibit / lesser viewed galleries - The 2023 Wildlife Photography winners exhibit is fabulous as usual. Each year it has truly stunning photos. Plus the background on how they were taken is fascinating. It ranges from luck to days, weeks, months of planning and execution. Worth a visit just for the one exhibit. We also try to visit lesser visited parts of the ROM. This time we check out the Korean gallery and the Indigenous gallery. Both were very worth a visit. It is great comparing the Korean history of art to other areas. The Indigenous gallery is huge and packed full of great artifacts and write-ups. Both galleries are worth checking out.

Try to go during the week to avoid the kids. - Museum was great. Good way to burn about 2 hours. Lots to look at. Went on a Saturday early afternoon. Lots of young children running around with parents chasing them. Nearly took out several little tykes around blind corners. If you can, go during the week to avoid it.

Nice museum, lots of variety and good location - An interesting and quite large place. It takes time to go through it. If you go with small children, they might get bored or want to visit only certain rooms (like the dinosaur room). I found the mineral room very interesting, although there is much more. There is a lack of good food service, the soda that is available is average and below.

Toronto Museum - The "ROM" is a Toronto Landmark that school children have been coming to for Generations. While a respectable local Museum it is no Smithsonian or London Museum. Located in downtown Toronto it is a good rainy day excursion and does have a few interesting exhibits.

Disappointed grandson - I had brought my grandson (who is in LOVE with dinosaurs) just to find out after our 3.5 hour drive there. Half of the dinosaur exhibit was closed off.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. - Came as a member with a guest. Many galleries only partially open. Others totally closed. Gift shop is awful. No museum guidebook, no gallery guides or maps for specific galleries. Try finding items actually specific to the ROM other than something with an image of the Michael Chin Lee Crystal on it. Shortage of docents in the galleries. And finally, the Druxy's restaurant prices are outrageous. But the pretentiously named "ROM BOUTIQUE" gift shop is the worst. An embarrassment for the largest public museum in Canada.
