Additional Information

Toronto is globally recognized for its majestic skyline, yet locals opine that the real charm lies within its subterranean city, also known as the PATH. As the PATH continues its expansion, it currently boasts:

  • Over 70 structures
  • More than 900 stores
  • Over 500 dining spots
  • 5 subway stations.
On any given business day, the PATH accommodates up to 300,000 pedestrians.

Though the PATH may seem intimidating to navigate initially, which deters some tourists and residents, our guided tour offers helpful suggestions to effectively traverse the PATH. The PATH houses some of Toronto’s most stunning architectures and our tour includes several pit-stops to admire these structures above ground.

Our tour encompasses several key locations such as Union Station, Scotiabank Arena, Brookfield Place, Assembly Chef’s Hall, Commerce Court, and the Toronto City Hall.
The PATH tour is especially suitable when the weather is:

  • Excessively hot,
  • Extremely cold,
  • Overly snowy,
  • Particularly rainy.
Take a short descent below the surface to embark on a city tour with a unique perspective.
  • Due to the size of Union Station, Plan to arrive at the station at least 10 minutes prior to the tour start time
  • Please use the signage within the train station to find the Platform for UP Express
  • Due to the many stair and escalators we take, this tour is NOT recommended for people with mobility issues.

PATH tour - This tour was so much fun! Our tour guide, Dave, was so knowledgeable about the tour and the city’s history and shared so many interesting details along the tour. The PATH was unlike anything we had ever visited, and was really neat to explore. The guide encourages conversation between all of the guests, and we got to chat with some great people! Definitely a fun way to spend 2 hours while exploring the city.

Informative and entertaining tour - Dave was an excellent guide and we got a private tour because we visited Toronto in February the day after a big snowstorm. We really appreciated the big reference cards he used throughout the tour. Also, plenty of opportunities for photos, as you can see. At the end of the tour, which Dave extended to Eaton Centre for just us, he asked if we'd learned anything. I learned about Quebec nearly seceding and being saved by hockey. I learned about the gold-plated bank building. I learned about the Maple Leafs buying the Raptors. Great tour, well worth the money. No pressure for tips at any point.

Experience Toronto as a local - I took the PATH walk with Dave and really enjoyed the tour - Dave is very personable and provided an excellent overview not only with respect to the origins of the PATH project but also how it impacts the everyday life of the local people who use it. Dave is an experienced tour-guide who is sincere and able to answer all possible questions about life in Toronto. Overall, it was time well spent and I highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to experience Toronto up close and personal.
