The Maine girls - We had John McKinnon as our guide he was very knowledgeable and funny we loved him. The only thing we wished was we had done the tour first before we did a bunch of other stuff. Because everything he talked about I said we did that we did that we did that and the guy that went over the falls twice and lived we saw at Ripley believe it or not. But we really enjoyed it and I would do again. Thank you.

Excellent from start to finish - We got picked up by Walter in the designated address and time with a friendly welcome and he was amazing from start to finish - he was so knowledgable and friendly, for the entire day. There were 7 of us in the party and he catered to everyone’s needs - even down to small details like making sure the seating arrangements were rotated so I wasn’t in the very back of the car we drove in as I’m tall and it didn’t have much leg room! The whole day was just timed really well and there wasn’t any point where the stop of times felt like they dragged. The day went by very quick and we actually packed in a lot of things such as wine tasting, lunch, Niagara on lake with time to look in all the stores and the Niagara boat tour. I didn’t expect to go on the boat tour and did find this a bit confusing on the information provided - the boat operates into the end of November and only after that is the behind the falls substituted. My only criticism would be that I emailed in advance to ask to be picked up from our hotel but it wasn’t on the list of hotels they pick up at, so we had a short 10 minute walk to a designated pick up location and then had to go pick up some other guests who stayed in hotels with pick ups available - one of which was literally the hotel next to where we were staying at. I would’ve appreciated being picked up to save time and hassle wandering around a new city. Despite that minor fact, we had a lovely day and the value for money for a whole day excursion was brilliant, I’d recommend anyone do this.

Good day out - Booked with Viator. Directions on where to pick up the tour were pretty straightforward (Strathcona Hotel on York) About 1hour 40 minutes drive out to niagara Straight on the boat trip which is absolutely amazing Then time to explore around Niagara before heading off for 30 minutes wine tasting then finishing up at niagara on the lake for a hour Our tour guide Michael Francis was very friendly knowledgeable & professional Would definitely recommend A very long day Got back in Toronto around 1900. But well worth it

Great trip! - Our tour guide, Kevin, was amazingly friendly and very genuine! He knew we were waiting for the tour and checked us in so we didn’t even have to search for which bus we needed to get on. The bus was comfortable and the narration was nice. The hornblower boat tour was incredible! We felt a bit rushed to walk around and grab lunch and souvenir shop but other than that, all around a great trip!

It was okay. - I have been to Niagara before using a tour bus and I liked it coz the guide was informative and he kept us engaged from Toronto to Niagara. Now with this tour that I just did... The guide narrated a few things and was quiet for the most part. I wanted the narration coz I had a family member who had not had the experience and I thought it woukd be the same like before, but it wasn't. The ride was safe though. We got to niagara and we did the nort cruise... That was our ultimate... It was great. I would have loved to spend more time at niagara on the lake, but the guise wanted to leave by 3:30pm...so we had ro leave early. When booking, the website indicated that the tour included a wine tour, but we instead had a maple syrup tour.. Please update your website. Generally the tour was okay,it just needs a few improvements... And to provide correct information on the website

Awesomely wet and wonderful - We booked VIP Tours through Via Tours. Our coach driver Peter was an awesome host and narrator throughout the trip. It wasn't very expensive and is a must see when in South Ontario. The sheer naked power of the falls and the boat ride to them is a bucket list item.

Awesome! - So first up is the pick-up location... its not specific enough. Its on the square west of the hotel and south of the Tim Hortens. Then second is the point of not knowing which tour operator to look for... we had 'VIP tours', very comfortable though. After this.. its only awesome! Our tour guide was Kevin and he is really great. Giving information with a smile and humor as we go about the surroundings, but also very professional and helpful. Unique in his kind. So the boat in to the falls, do it! Its awesome and nothing I have ever experienced before. Its like your in one big wasmachine and still having a good time;). Ten if you booked a lunch its lunchtime, we didn't and got a quick burger to eat at the side of the falls. Trust me there are more then enough places to get (fast)food, for much less money than you'll pay for the pre-booked lunch. Also if you don't book the lunch, you'll have a hour to yourself and the falls instead of eating lunch... Up next is the city of Niagara on the lake. Highly commercial and touristy, didn't like it at all! Got myself a Starbucks and waited... After a short drive we got to the wine tasting. Tasting.. 2 types of real ICE wine and some information about it. It was nice to drink and fun walking around, but I have had better tastings. But after all I only went on the tour for the falls and really enjoyed my time! I recommend going, you will never forget it. Find this review helpful? Trip to Niagara Falls, NOTL and winery - The tour was very good. Kevin qreat and the bus driver (female - forget her name) was also terrific. The only part that I found a bit disappointing was the winery. There are so many really nice wineries and that one big pretty sterile and industrial. I don't drink, so can't comment on the wine, but the setting was a bit sterile.

Don’t use this company - Poor communication with tour guide, they were 45 min late. Ticket was supposed to include winery with tastings and at last minute they canceled that/with no notification and gave us a maple syrup tasting. Very disappointed. Was refunded $5. Bus had poor air conditioning and we had to remind driver for a bottle of water. Never again will I use this tour. The Falls were beautiful and cruise included was excellent.

tour company not very communicative - The tour was great, the tour company was not very communicative. When we booked we selected a pick up location from their list of hotels. Our hotel was not listed so we selected one nearby. Per the directions, I emailed the company to verify the pickup time and location with no response. The reservation indicated the hotel we had selected. I called them the day before the tour to get the pick up time to find that they had moved our pick up from our selected hotel to their default pick up because they had called the hotel and we were not guests there. The did this without notifying us. The tour itself was great. We did the boat and the walk along the falls. There was plenty of time to do both and to have lunch at the table rock center. Niagara-on-the-lake is a quaint little touristy town, and the best part of the winery was the ice wine which is a specialty to the region.
