Amazing Experience - My boyfriend LOVED IT! It was his birthday and he’s always dreamed of going here. He’s from Saskatchewan and told me he was blown away by how incredible it was.

Great place to visit for a Hockey Fan - For a die hard hockey fan which place would be a dream visit for them, for me not such one was great place to learn about the players, history or the sport and also the imprint it has throughout the world, as I learnt loads about the sport I didn't know. Loads to look at throughout the Hall of Fame and the layout is perfect to flow into all the different areas, it's also very interactive for not only younger people but people of all ages. It's a place to visit and you don't feel rushed through as it's self paced, everyone is respectful of everyone else and plenty of photo opportunities of places you might not ever get the chance too. I especially enjoyed learning about the history of the Stanley Cup and himself in the vault and getting to see the Stanley Cup in person is something I would have never got to do, so this was a nice way to end the visit.

Interactive and fun for the kids! - Took my sons & 2 nephews during kids' spring break, went on a Monday AM at the open and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Highlights for the kids were the opportunities to take shots on a virtual goalie as well as playing netminder using a virtual system. Lots of fun for the kids. Was awesome to see equipment from the game's greats. Loved the Canadian's locker room setup, kids got to handle stuff actually used by the pros.

NHL Hockey Store a must see - This is a place for anyone who is interested in hockey or in sport in general. Its full of facts and history that is a great read and look at. Lovers of Hockey a must especially little kids so much to do. An easy 2 hour exhibit to explore. Location is awesome and the shop to purchase things outstanding. The 30 minute 3D movie about game 7 in the finals series well worth the admission fee.

Best for hockey history buff, less so for casual fans - As a caveat, I'm a casual Red Wings Fan. But the whole family went because my husband is a hockey history buff. I was smaller than I expected, but packed full of info. There were also four interactive areas - one where you shot on a digital goalie, one where players shot on your goal and you had to defend, and a PS4 game console area. Get in the goalie and defending lines when you see they are short because they don't stay that way for long. The video they take of you doing it is pretty cool and free to download. The history was interesting, especially the history of women in hockey (it's still a pretty discriminatory sport). There's only been one female president of a team ever. The Stanley cup is great to see in person. It is up a different set of stairs from the gift shop, so don't get confused. Even if you choose not to buy the picture, standing in the short line is worth seeing the cup up close.
