Cacao Tour - Very interesting tour about 30 minutes out of Puerto Vallarta. Great informative tour. Very well set up with knowledgeable guides. They let you taste test the cacao products and have a gift shop if you wanna take home some of their products. Everything is very reasonably priced. They also make refreshing cacao drinks to enjoy before or after the tour.

Viva Cacao Planet! - Our visit to Cacao Planet was more than a tour—it was a journey into the soul of chocolate. Guided by the passionate and knowledgeable Adrián, we explored the history of cacao from its sacred Mesoamerican roots to its modern-day artistry. We didn’t just observe—we participated. We cracked the beans ourselves, husked them by hand, and watched as they transformed through grinding and mixing into rich, velvety chocolate. Adrián walked us through each step with warmth and insight, making the process feel both ancient and alive. The tasting was a revelation. Their house-made chocolates, infused with local flavors, offered bold, earthy notes and delicate finishes. Each bite told a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and care. If you’re curious about chocolate’s origins or simply want to experience something soulful and delicious, this adventure is unforgettable. Adrián made it personal, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the bean—and the people behind it.

From Cocoa Bean to Chocolate Bar - One of the best parts was getting to see the chocolate-making process up close. From bean to bar, I got to observe how raw cacao is transformed into smooth, rich chocolate. The machines, smells, and sights were mesmerizing!

Hands down so much fun! - Adrian and Millie were absolutely fantastic! Adrian gave us a private tour of the Cacao garden where we learned the history of chocolate! We got to then try all the steps in the process for making chocolate and we got to walk away with a nice piece of chocolate that we made from cooking the chocolate seeds to grinding it up and adding sugar, cinnamon and toppings of our choice. This is by far the best tour that we have had so far on our vacation! Highly recommend this especially if you have kids. The experience is very interactive and a whole lot of fun.
