A brilliant trip! - We had an amazing day with Ahmed! He made sure we had everything we needed and was a brilliant guide when it came to navigating Wadi Shab! He was kind and very knowledgable - we’d definitely recommend!

Kind, patient, and attentive—he made our sinkhole & wadi tour unforgettable on our first trip to Oman - Our first time in Oman could not have been more perfect, thanks to our amazing guide. He waited patiently for us after a late flight, and from that moment on, his kindness and professionalism shone through. The sinkhole and wadi trail was rocky and challenging, but he guided us with patience, attentiveness, and a smile, always anticipating our needs before we even asked. He shared fascinating insights about the city, nature, and culture, making the day both educational and fun. His generosity truly stood out- treating us to Karak tea, local snacks, and keeping us well-hydrated throughout. Such a true gentleman, and such a pleasure to be around. This was a trip for my mom, and having him as our guide was the best decision we made. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Oman!

Hiking and swimming in oasis - We have chosen to call on a quality local agency to take full advantage of their expertise in this area. I highly recommend taking a guide for this beautiful wadi, as hiking is as complex as swimming. And we were not disappointed — quite the contrary! Our guide, Mr Ahmed, was very attentive and kind throughout the day. Water is provided continuously. Before starting the hike, you will have the opportunity to change into on-site amenities. I advise you to put on your bathing suit directly and take a small backpack containing the rest of your equipment, as you will immediately follow up with swimming, with no possibility of changing afterwards (except maybe behind a towel or a tree...). Don't forget your hiking boots, as the terrain is rocky and can get slippery. You will then swim across the wadi to reach a cave. A life jacket will be offered before the start of the hike. As the wadi can be very deep, I strongly recommend taking one if you are not comfortable in the water or if you cannot swim a long distance without a break. In any case, the guide swims with you, takes many breaks, and accompanies you throughout the activity. We warmly thank Ahmed for his valuable help to my wife and I — he was exceptionally supportive. After this activity, you’ll head back to the Sinkhole, located in a public park. A nice spot to relax and take pictures!

Wadi Shab hike and Bimash sinkhole - We booked a private family tour with Sunshine. Our guide Fawzi picked us up in a comfy Land Cruiser 200. He ensured we were well-prepared as we purchased water/hiking shoes and waterproof case for mobile phone. The hike through Wadi Shab was stunning, and Fawzi expertly guided us on the best trail. The swim to the cave was unforgettable! Despite the heat, he kept us comfortable and hydrated. We also visited a picturesque beach and Bimmah Sinkhole. Highly recommend this tour!

Oman wadi and desert - The tour guide Khalfan was excellent all few days we spent in wadi, desert and Jebel Akhdar together, providing insightful information about Oman, and taking exceptional care of my visually impaired husband. We are very pleased with the tour and Khalfan.

Great day trip to Wadi Shab - We had a brilliant day trip from Muscat to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole. Our guide Faisal was so welcoming and shared us tips and recommendations for restaurants and other places to visit around Muscat. The walk and swim at Wadi Shab was amazing - thank you Faisal for making it such an enjoyable day.

Best Day tour from Oman - I could not of asked for a better day exploring nature in Oman! Amar picked us up in Muscat in a nice Land Rover and we drove to a big sinkhole where we had the option to swim. The second stop of the day was to this nice long deserted beach with no one in sight! On Fins Beach, we took the time to look for nice seashells and relaxe. The water was warm. The next stop was my favorite one! Wadi Shab is an enormous canyon gorge where you can hike to some pools of fresh water. The hike ends at a cave with deep blue water and a waterfall. I recommend water shoes. It is 5km in total. Later on we drove at our hotel on Turtle Beach where I saw the nicest pink colored beach!! The color comes from small seashells. It was too pretty!! After dark, we were lucky enough to go observe a big green turtle cover her eggs. It was done with respect for the turtle with a guide from the Turtle Reserve. I highly recommand Sunshine Tours Oman and Amar as a guide. He also tought us alot about the culture and lifestyle of the omani people who are the most welcoming.

A truly memorable trip that can’t be missed! - A truly memorable trip to Wadi Shab, that was enjoyed by the whole family and was one of the highlights of our holiday in Oman. Could not have asked for a better guide than Waleed, he was helpful, kind and made the journey a lot easier for us. I would highly recommend booking!
