- Villa Adriana - Begin your morning visiting Villa Adriana, an UNESCO World Heritage Site! The Villa, located around 30km from the Eternal City on the Monti Tiburtini, could be reached via the ancient Roman roads Tiburtina and Prenestina. The Hadrian’s Villa has been erected by the request of the Emperor Hadrian. It is a monumental living complex that even today continues to display the lavishness and enormous power of Ancient Rome. The Emperor Hadrian has chosen this area for its abundant waters and availability of four aqueducts that passed through to Rome. Highly recommend - This was an amazing tour. Claudio was our driver and was amazing. He contacted us the day before we left so we had his contact info. He brought us pastries for breakfast and had refreshments for us all day. The restaurant he selected in Tivoli was amazing very beautiful and great food. Even though their are times in the tour description we never felt rushed we where able to take our time and enjoy the sites at our own pace.

Amazing experience worth the money. - I was a little hesitant to book this tour because of the price. But it was an amazing experience our driver and guide Claudio was great he text us the day before so we would have his number brought us A pastry when he picked us up, had water and sodas for us all day long on the trip helped us with entry into all of the attractions picked an amazing restaurant for our lunch very beautiful and very romantic. Gave us plenty of time and all the attractions never felt rushed or herded just an amazing experience.

Tivoli - It is a beautiful village, the ruins were amazing. Paolo, our guide was great. He provided a lot of information and took us to a great restaurant with a beautiful view. We even booked a night tour of Tome with him because we do enjoyed our day.

Great day in Tivoli - Wonderful day. Claudio was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining as well. Took us to a great place for lunch. Tivoli is a beautiful place and well worth the time.

Tivoli day trip with private car - Paulo was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful and with excellent English. Everything was very easy for us. He took us to a lovely place for lunch. Definitely wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking. Hadrians Villa is vast. Maybe check the times of the organ fountain before you go so you can be in the garden of Villa d’Este at the right time -we missed it. All in all, a fantastic day out and worth the money to be on a private trip rather than in a group.

Terrific Day in Tivoli with Salvatore! - Our trip to Tivoli with Salvatore on Sep 20 was a high spot for my family! Salvatore was so knowledgeable about the town and kept us informed with history along the way. Tivoli is lovely, worth another visit and a stay, we all thought. They reserved a fabulous lunch spot for us at Sibilla's, overlooking the gorge. They also arranged an excellent local guide, Maria Therese, for our tour of Villa Adriana. She was so informative, and provided facts with lots of context. She helped the history come alive for us. We had visited Pompeii the day before, and we honestly found Villa d'Adrianna to be as interesting. Much less crowded too. Villa d'Este was almost overwhelming in the richness of the art and sculpture. A fantastic day trip with a fantastic driver! We have used Best Rome Drivers in past trips and they are always first rate. We have confidence in them, and their drivers make everything as easy and smooth as you could hope for. Highly recommend them for this and all of their other day trips (we have done most of them). Highly recommend Salvatore! He took good care of us!

Best Rome Driver & Claudio lived up to their name. Tivoli Gardens did not disappoint. - We used Best Rome Driver for our tour of Villa D'este in Tivoli. It was very easy to book with them as Serena was a fluent english speaker. I found their price to be quite reasonable compared to some other companies and they were willing to work with us on a later pickup time. Our driver Claudio was super nice. He arrived on time and contacted us to let us know he was at our hotel at our disposal. He spoke very good english and kept us entertained throughout our drive times. He even brought us a traditional roman pastry which was delicious. He shared alot of information along the way and answered our questions.
His Mercedes Van was clean and in excellent condition.
Once at the Tivoli Gardens, he showed us a spot to get a quick, delicious and inexpensive meal before walking us directly to the entrance desk of the Villa. He spoke with the agent to make sure there was no problems with our entry although they spoke very good english at the desk. We appreciated his looking out for us the entire day. He had cold water and a cokes available to us as well.
We enjoyed seeing the villa and especially the beautiful outdoor spaces with all of the sculpture and fountains. We enjoyed wandering around for hours.
They were flexible about our plans as we originally planned also to go to Hadrain's Villa, but enjoyed Villa D'Este so much that we spent extra time there and then headed back to Rome where Claudio took us to the top of the Piazza de Spagna for a viewing and pictures and then to the Villa Borghese grounds for a quick drive around before returning us to our hotel.
I would highly recommend Best Rome Driver and Claudio to anyone looking to hire a car, go on a tour or even get back and forth from the airport in style and comfort.
