Beautiful green park with improvement potential. We were with morning rush, and was surprised that there were all 300 cars going out. A lot of sound and a lot of exhaust. Very beautiful and green park, and got to meet several animals there, such as elephants and crocodiles. Exciting hours of looking into the jungle. We had a break in the middle of the trip, and the cafe was stylish and modern, with nice service. What was terrible, however, were the toilets!! Incredible Day in Yala National Park. We recently did the full day safari at Yala National Park and are so glad we booked via Lakpura. We had friends that did it through another company and had a terrible time. Our driver, Galappaththi from Panchi Safaris, was amazing, such a lovely guy. He clearly loved showing off the animals and the park. He got just excited as us when we spotted something, despite doing safaris for 15 years. I lost count of all the animals we saw throughout the day and we rarely felt crowded, despite the amount of jeeps around, thanks to Galappaththi.
