Tirana walking tour

Skanderbeg Square - We’ll start the tour with National Historical museum followed by a stop at the Mosque of Et`hem Bey built in 1793. The Opera House (National Theatre of Opera and Ballet) looks over the Scanderbeg Square. A walk in the main boulevard provides a close sight of the City Hall and a number of Governmental buildings, on both sides. You cannot miss the National Gallery of Arts along this walk. Continue to the Bunk’Art2 museum (ticket : 5$ not included ) in Tirana opened to the public describing it as a museum throwing light on political persecution during the Albanian communist era. In the evening, a visit to the former Communist Residential area, with modern bars, restaurants and pubs where the populated by different age groups, especially Albanian youth.

### Hiking & visiting Pellumbas cave and Erzeni cayon

The Cave of Pellumbas - After breakfas we’ll start our trip to the Pellumbas Cave .
The Pellumbas Cave, also known as the Black Cave, is an archaeological site in Albania near the village of Pellumbas.
We will travel from Tirana to Pellumbasi village with car for 45 min, then we will start hiking to our destination. The path is an average level and it’s marked. The forest, the Erzen River, Dajti Mountain and the view of the city of Tirana make it an unforgettable place . Hiking to the cave lasts about 1 hour. Once we reach the cave entrance we take a short break and go inside to explore it.
Inside is a very large space and looks like a mine. With the lighters we will see and explore the cave with its unique and fascinating look.This cave entered six well-known karsties for the existence of tires in Europe. The cave is 350 meters above sea level and forms a tunnel 70-80 meters long.
After exploring the Cave we’ll eat the food we have taken with us and relaxing on the nature.

Canyons of Erzen River - Erzeni river has one of the most beautiful canyons in the Tirana area. It has a length of 1.08 km and lies at the mouth of Skorana. The canyon is filled with bathtubs, cataracts, cavities and straits of all shapes. Nature has created a spectacular view over millions of years.

### Hiking in Bovilla reservoir

Lake Bovilla - We will meet in the morning at 09:00 AM at hotel/guesthouse and starting our trip to the lake of Bovilla . The road is about 21 km distance where half of it is off road. We will look at the suburban neighborhoods of Tirana where you will see a very different livestyle from the city . We drive up the lake dam and after we reach Bovilla Lake we prepare to hike in Mount Gamti. The track to hike is a simple level where every step gives us a more beautiful view as we reach the top. Hiking lasts about 40 minutes. On the top of the hill there is an impressive view of the lake and the green hills surrounding it. Time to rest, to enjoy the gorgeous view, to play with each other, to talk and to eat food under the shadows of the cave. Returns to the same track takes about 30 minutes. We have a short stop at the river below the dam where the formed canyons are unique and, if you want, you can swim in the fresh water of the river. After all this adventure, we are ready to return in Tirana.
