Following the visit to Lezha, the tour proceeds to Thethi.
Theth National Park - This remarkable mountain village boasts the most breathtaking scenery in Albania.
To reach Thethi, the drive will take guests through Thore Pass, a high mountain pass situated at an elevation of 1,685 meters above sea level in the Albanian Alps. Upon arrival in Thethi village, guests will head to the guest house for lunch. Afterward, the itinerary includes visits to the Tower of Thethi and the Church.
Dinner will feature local cuisine accompanied by a glass of raki, or perhaps two or three.
Thethi-Tirane
Blue Eye of Theth - After breakfast, the journey continues to Grunasi waterfall, a stunning natural wonder in the Albanian Alps. The walk to Grunasi waterfall takes approximately one hour. The next stop is the Blue Eye, located in Kaprre, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alps. To reach the Blue Eye, visitors must traverse the Grunas Canyon of Theth, a rare natural beauty. The walk to the Blue Eye takes about two hours. For the adventurous, there is an opportunity to swim, though the water is notably cold.
The tour then proceeds to Shkodra.
Rozafa Castle - In Shkodra, there will be a brief visit and lunch near the lake. Shkodra, the traditional heart of the Gheg cultural region, is one of Europe’s oldest cities and arguably Albania’s most charming urban center. The ancient Rozafa Fortress offers breathtaking views over Lake Shkodra, while the pastel-colored buildings in the Old Town exude a distinct Italian charm.
After exploring Shkodra, the tour returns to Tirana.
