Excellent Berat experience - Edi was our guide. The booking and picking arrangements were very straightforward and he picked us up at our hotel. He talked about the history of Albania on the way to Berat. We visited the Iconography Museum. This was incredibly interesting. Edi struck a great balance between pointing out key items and then leaving us to make discoveries of our own. We then walked around the hilltop area. He took us to a mosque and a tekke (religious building in the Bektashi faith). By now, we’d built up an appetite for an excellent local lunch (cheese pies, stuffed vegetables). We stopped off at the Bektashi world centre in Tirana on the way back.

Beautiful city - Our tour guide gave us an excellent private tour of Berati. It was very interesting and it is a beautiful place! Well worth the trip!

Great day trip from Tirana - Excellent tour, the castle and museum are well worth a visit. The paintings in the monastery are superb. Our guide Marti was very knowledgeable, amusing and took us to a very welcoming family restaurant for a most enjoyable and authentic Albanian meal. Highly recommended

Berat private tour (winter month) - Berat is one of the best UNESCO heritage site that u will be able to take very nice pictures. The tour guide Marin was humorous and engaging. He is passionate about his work and explained in simple terms for us to understand. He valued - added the tour by helping us to take creative pictures. It was one of the most enjoyable private tour that i had ever had. Strongly recommended anyone who want to know more about berat to sign up the private tour and ask for Marin.

Beautiful day - Everything was good. The organisation, our guide did his job very well, the beautiful place and the visits to the mosk, museum and castle.
