A beautiful place and a wonderful tour - Had a tour with Inspire Me World Travel to Berat in December 2019 and it absolutely blew us away! Tirana itself was beautiful, especially at Christmas, but Berat is a fantastic mix of history and culture - the churches, museums and castle grounds are beautiful in their own right and also have fantastic panoramic views across rural parts of Albania. Equally though Berat, has a unique centre, busy and with the postcard view of the house windows across the river. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, good drivers (which is a massive bonus in getting around the country where driving is reliably erratic!) and with local food and drink included, it really was a wonderful day and would recommend to everyone and anyone planning on visiting this remarkable country.
