Excellent experience - My husband and I spent 4 hours with Alexander at his home. We began with a welcome drink and started the fire in the wood burning stove built by his grandfather. We were given a lesson on how to know when the oven was hot enough to bake bread. We began with making the dough and putting it aside to rise. We then prepared the dough for the dessert tarts. We cored tomatoes and peppers and stuffed them w a purée of tomatoes, eggplant and zucchini and rice. We prepared a sauce of leeks, carrots and yellow split peas to be eaten with the octopus. We also made a black eyed bean salad and finished the apricot tarts. When everything finished baking and cooking we sat down to a wonderful meal accompanied by a local white wine. The meal was excellent as well as the company and conversation. We would highly recommend spending an afternoon or evening with Alexander!
