On this mountaineering adventure, hike/climb/scramble your way up the Sunrise Ridge to achieve stunning views. Then catch a glimpse of nomadic Berber life as you cross the plateau above the canyon, passing nomadic families living high on rocky cliffs.
This activity is suitable for people with no climbing or mountaineering experience as the route can be adapted to your own abilities and level of comfort.
We are the only certified and qualified climbing/mountaineering company in Todgha Gorge.
Our guide is an FFME (French Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing) certified mountain sports guide – the only qualified guide in the area!
During your adventure, learn mountaineering techniques and interesting cultural information about the area and the people who live here.
Equipment (harness and helmet) is included.
Please pack comfortable clothing and mountain/hiking boots.

Step aside from the common tourist path! Get an exclusive view of the stunning Todgha Gorges located in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains via an exhilarating mountain climbing route. You’ll be guided by an FFME certified instructor who specializes in mountain sports. You’ll ascend the Todra plateau through the Sunrise Ridge, aptly named for being the first line of rock that the sun touches every morning. Once you scale the peak, you’ll traverse the plateau and set off downwards through a canyon utilizing nomad paths, witnessing close up the life of local nomadic communities as they shepherd their goat herds on the craggy landscape. An perfect day outing offering a mix of thrill and a rare glimpse into genuine Moroccan lifestyle.
