Sung Sot Cave - Known as “Grotte des Surprises” by the French, Sung Sot Cave is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, a highlight on most itineraries. Discovered by a French explorer in 1901, it is 25 meters above sea level and covers an area of up to 10,000 sqm. Visitors often feel “surprised” by this incredible natural wonder. Sung Sot Cave is a popular attraction included in nearly all Halong Bay cruise itineraries. It can be accessed by rented canoe, day cruise, or overnight cruise. The best time to visit is year-round, with October to December being ideal due to lower humidity levels (60-70%).
-
Hang Luon Cave - Part of Bo Hon Island, approximately 14 kilometers from Bai Chay City, Luon Cave is a must-visit on Halong Bay tours. The area around Luon Cave includes many famous sites, such as Con Rua Island (Turtle Island) in front and Heaven Gate to the right. Bo Hon Island also features Sung Sot Cave, the most magnificent cave in Halong Bay, along with Tien Cave and Trinh Nu Cave nearby.
-
Ti Top Island - Ti Top Island is a favored destination for Halong Bay tourists due to its prime location. Bo Hon Island and Sung Sot Cave are in front, Dam Nam Island to the right, and Cua Luc Bay at the back. Ti Top Beach is just 7-8 kilometers southeast of Bai Chay Tourist Area.
From above, Ti Top Island has a steep slope on one side and a gentle slope on the other. The beach has a crescent shape with smooth white sand and is blessed with stunning natural beauty. The water is clear and blue year-round, revealing pebbles on the sandy bottom. These features make Ti Top Island a must-visit stop in Halong Bay.
- Tuan Chau Island - After the tour, the cruise disembarks at Tuan Chau Island, concluding the trip. If transfer is booked, guests will be returned to their hotel in the Halong Bay Area.
Opened on January 1, 2016, Tuan Chau Harbour operates under the “one destination, many facilities” model. In addition to being a port, it offers restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and entertainment options, fully catering to the needs of tourists and sailors.
