Excellent Greek cooking lesson on Santorini - George and Paula provided the most amazing day of our trip to Greece! Their warm hospitality and obvious love for sharing Greek culture through food and wine draw you in. We had a great day with friends learning tips and techniques for easier prep of any dish, let alone what we learned about how to make tzatziki, moussaka, and several other wonderful dishes. Perfect experience for couples, singles, families or friends!

Entertaining and Delicious - My daughter and I had a great time cooking at Petra Kouzina in their beautifully appointed cave home. The charming husband-and-wife owners regaled us with entertaining personal stories and Greek cooking secrets, as we prepared a delicious multi-course meal together with eight other guests. Ended with a lovely group lunch on their charming patio. One of the best meals we had in Greece, and a top highlight of our entire trip. Highly recommend.

Truly, a must do experience on your trip to Santorini! - This cooking experience was indeed an experience and so much more than a cooking class. Paula and George are such gracious hosts and do a wonderful job with sharing the passion that they have for Greek living. They make you feel at home immediately which made the class even more memorable. George is a great chef that shared many techniques that I am using at home. The food was wonderful and the company even better as we shared in the meal that we all prepared together! Truly, a must do experience on your trip to Santorini!

Wonderful Cooking Class - I highly recommend this cooking class. The chef and wife/partner were amazing, the food and recipes were incredible and the other guests were so fun. This is such a great experience to have while visiting the Island.

Don't miss this cooking experience - George and Paola were amazing and I simply can't say enough good things about this experience. My husband, our 21 year old daughter and myself were all thrilled to have gone to THIS cooking class. There were 3 other people in the class (one of whom was visiting for the 6th time!). Bring an appetite and know you'll leave with the recipes for the dishes we made. Paola reached out a few days before the class to inquire about dietary concerns and they easily accommodated a vegetarian couple in our class. The interior kitchen is a beautiful renovated cave home, with comfortable restrooms, sitting area, and white wine and water flowing throughout the class. After the majority of the food was prepared, we went onto a rooftop terrace while George prepared the final dish outside and then enjoyed the different foods - AMAZING!

So much more than just a cooking school experience - This was a highlight of our Santorini holiday. What a delight coming into Paula and Georgios traditional cave home to be welcomed and entertained and educated. This is a well polished experience. The couple engaged with the dozen of us there breaking the ice with such ease to get us all interacting and laughing together. The cooking was inspiring. Each of us came away with a professional recipe book covering the dishes of the day. The feast complemented with delicious local wines just so memorable.

Believe all of the 5 stars!!!! - This cooking class was amazing! We were immediately welcomed by George and Paula into their beautiful cave home with smiles, drinks, and tapas. Then we learned a bit about their passions and why they started this business before jumping into the cooking! We learned to make a couple of traditional Greek dishes while picking up general cooking tips along the way. Throughout our time together, Paula and George continued to share their love story and backgrounds, which was wonderful. At the end, we had a full meal to enjoy together as a class and it was DELICIOUS! We cannot wait to go home and try to replicate these dishes with the cookbook they sent us home with. This was a fantastic way to enjoy a day in Santorini, especially if you’re looking for a way to travel outside of the touristy ports and get away from the crowds. We took the bus from Fira and it was very easy to navigate with google maps and the instructions provided by Paula ahead of time.

Immerse yourself in Greek cooking within an amazing Santorini cave home! - Paula and Georgios start the experience at Petra Kouzina by saying “welcome to our home” and you absolutely feel catered to and cared for (as you would at a visit with family) from start to finish. They are both well-traveled, personable, and real; and more importantly made cooking approachable for all backgrounds and levels of skill. Their staff were attentive, the recipes delicious, and the wine flowed freely. I highly recommend anyone interested in visiting an authentic cave home hosted by an enigmatic couple with a truly fantastic chef cooking try this attraction!
