Museum of Cultures of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups - During the journey, there will be a stop in Thai Nguyen to explore the beautiful Museum of the Culture of Vietnam’s Ethnic Minorities.
Ba Be - Depart from the main road to take a smaller path winding through rugged mountains and lush tea plantations to reach the Tay village of Bo Lu. The Tay people sustain themselves through fishing and cultivating rice and corn, and they are renowned for their exquisite stilt houses. Upon arriving in Bo Lu, guests will experience the warm hospitality of the host and his welcoming family in one of these traditional homes. Escape the hustle and bustle of Hanoi with a serene 3-hour boat trip, leisurely cruising around the lake. To cool off, follow the local children and take a refreshing swim in the river.
At the day’s end, return to the homestay for a delightful dinner featuring local delicacies. Overnight accommodation will be with a local family in Bo Lu Village.
Ba Be – Hanoi
Ba Be National Park - After enjoying breakfast at the homestay, embark on a walking tour to closely explore the Ba Be forest.
Then, trek along the gently flowing river, marvel at the rugged yet breathtaking mountains, valleys, and natural caves, and engage in some bird and butterfly watching. The national park is home to countless species of flora and fauna.
Hanoi - On the return journey, consider stopping at Hua Ma cave, which has only recently become accessible due to ancient beliefs that deterred locals from entering. Inside, admire the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in this atmospheric setting. Relax during the drive back to Hanoi, with a lunch break at a local restaurant along the way. Expect to arrive at the hotel in Hanoi around 18:30.
