Your day starts with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Thessaloniki by a friendly, English-speaking driver. Enjoy a picturesque 2-hour journey through Thessaly to the awe-inspiring Meteora. Upon reaching Kalambaka, you’ll ascend the cliffs to visit two of the historic Meteora monasteries, dramatically situated on towering rock formations. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites provide insight into monastic life from the Dark Ages.

After your exploration, descend to Kalambaka for a traditional Greek lunch and fantastic photo opportunities of Meteora’s stunning natural scenery. The adventure continues with a visit to the ancient Cavern of Theopetra, which has been inhabited since the Middle Paleolithic era. Before heading back, make a stop at the Pinios River, known for its rich biodiversity and beautiful views. The tour concludes with a comfortable drive back to your accommodation in Thessaloniki.
