Great food tour with Anna in Thessaloniki - The best way to start a trip to Greece! We started in Thessaloniki and our first night out met up with Anna A. for a food tour. She was easy to locate, and it happed to just be us so we got a private tour! Most important, all the food was so delicious! Anna was a fantastic guide! She talked to us about food, history, local culture and more. She was very easy going and personable and we had a great time! There is quite a bit of walking between the four places, so wear comfortable shoes. Definitely recommended adding to your itinerary!

Highly recommended for an excursion during your visit to Thessaloniki! - A super fun tour with Anna Alexandra. She told a lot about the history and culture of the city and Greece. She is also very pleasant and fun company. Talkative and social. We ate and drank delicious, it was way too much 😊 and visited nice eateries (3 pieces and a bakery for dessert). The tour lasted over 3 hours and was totally worth it. We didn't have to think about anything ourselves. Thanks again Anna!

Awesome Food Tour - Our guide, Anna Gkaragkouni, was warm, knowledgeable and a great companion as we walked the city, ate delicious food at different restaurants and the best part it was with a local person who loves her city! The food tour was one of my favorite parts of my trip to Greece.

Great food, great guide! - What a treat! Our guide, Anna, was terrific. When asked why she gives tours, she said because she loves her city and wants to share it with others. That is so evident, and makes this tour even better. Her knowledge of local history is extensive, as well as her descriptions of all the food choices. The selection of foods in a variety of locations was perfect. I highly recommend this tour…especially with Anna!

Evening food tour - Great food choices getting local cuisine. Added bonus was a little history of the city, and seeing different neighborhoods. Anna was charming, knowledgeable and energetic. A pleasure for us to have her as our guide.

Highly recommend - Excellent walking food tour with our highly knowledgeable, local guide Giorgos. We sampled myriad of local dishes and drinks all expertly selected by Giorgos. He went above and beyond to give us extra tips and information to help us enjoy our stay. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an introduction to Thessaloniki.

Best food tour in Thessaloniki - Simply the best! This tour is exceptional from start to finish. Anna was my guide very kind and hospitable. She is knowledgeable in not only food but in the history of Thessaloniki. Not only do you get authentic cuisine far from a tourist menu you also learn from her, while also get to view little pieces of history along your way to the various restaurants. Only thing I would change is that it could of been longer due to it being so phenomenal. This tour is a 10 out of 10 do not miss out on it!

A disappointment - We’ve been on food tours in six different countries, and it pains me to say that this was the most disappointing and overpriced. Our guide (Konstantina) tried to please us, but unfortunately the itinerary and her poor language skills did not provide for a good tour. At the very least, the guide should provide an explanation of the restaurant and dishes served. E.g. why this restaurant is on our tour (I.e. the chef is famous for his/her special dish, the restaurant is historical, or they make the best pita in town…). Instead we visited a random collection of mediocre to good restaurants, not knowing the names of the restaurant or the reason for the visit. No learning about Greek food or dining culture. Drinks served at only restaurant 1&2 (had to buy my own wine at one point). Lots of stops at some historic points (which we had already visited earlier), but no time spent explaining food. Please stick to a food tour. Lots of bread and stereotypical Greek food (souvlaki, tzasiki, etc) that I can easily eat in the States for less than half the price we paid. Sigh… I really wanted to learn something.
