This tour has everything: a mountain, ruins, stroll to a waterfall - This tour was wonderful. First of all my daughter loves Greek mythology so going to Mt Olympus was high on the list. However, the Dion ruins impressiveness was completely unexpected- how large and amazing it was. We also loved the little village of Litochoro and an easy hike/walk on Mt Olympus to a small waterfall.. This tour would have been spectacular on its own but our tour guide Maria is an archaeologist and she was super knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Our driver was kind and attentive, every time we got on and off the van. Also part of the tour goes up and down a winding road and he is a good and careful driver. We loved this tour and it was a major highlight of our stay in Greece! I highly recommend this tour!!

Memorable with beautiful scenery - Our guide, Dimitra, was very knowledgeable, kept us informed, provided excellent commentary! Since there were tourists from Italy in the group, she gave the tour in two languages. I founded it interesting.

Recommended - The excavation in Dion and the archaeological museum were very impressive. The view of Mount Olympus was also great. However, the time in Litochoro was far too long. We would have preferred to have had more time at the excavation or to take a short walk at Olympus.

Very informative and lovely village for lunch - We had a little mix up with the meeting point but thankfully the van waited. The archaeological site was interesting but most of what we saw was roman as those pesky Italians built over the Greek site when they where the super power. But it was still good to see. Then the museum, its small but filled. Lastly we had lunch in a village on Mt olympus that is traditional, it was a cloudy day so we did not get to see the top of the mountain which sucked but you cannot control the weather

A memorable day trip - The archaeological site of Dion was fascinating, and our tour guide provided valuable insights that truly enriched our visit. We had the place basically to ourselves, and our small group of three plus our tour guide. However, I was disappointed that we didn’t get to see Stavros viewpoint as mentioned in the itinerary, and there were some logistical delays that affected our schedule. I also felt we could have used more time to explore Old Panteleimon village, as it had so much charm and history. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip with beautiful sights, but better planning could really elevate the experience.

Misleading title, not the visit to Mount Olympus that you would expect - The title of this tour is a little bit misleading. I and my family and several other members of the tour group had imagined that we would actually be going up Mount Olympus, which never happened. Instead, the tour mostly consisted of a visit to several archeological sites in Dion, an ancient city at the base of the mountain, and a visit to the adjacent museum. We did go up a neighboring mountain to a traditional Greek village where we were given free time to have lunch and walk around. There were amazing views from here of Mount Olympus and also of the sea below. Still, the tour does not include a visit to Mount Olympus itself.

One language per tour - We were highly dissatisfied because it was a duo lingo tour. We were not informed of this when we purchased the tour. Others in the group were also dissatisfied because we had to wait for the French version to be completed before moving on. This tour consisted of many sites, so the waiting became unpleasant in the heat. This tour could have been completed in one half of the time if it had not been duo lingo. We understand that a tour has to maximize the event but it would be to everyone’s benefit to keep it to one language. The village where we were able to have lunch on our time was very nice. The archeological aspect was good expect for the waiting in the heat!
