Great tour and guide - Sebastian was an amazing driver and local guide. He was very friendly, knew a lot about all the sights we went to, and adjusted the itinerary to make us feel comfortable. My husband unfortunately had a semi-severe allergic reaction in the middle of the tour (absolutely not Sebastian or the company’s fault, 100% our own), and he got us to the nearest hospital extremely quickly and helped us translate while we were there. After our hospital adventure he offered to take us back to Athens but we decided to keep going. Meteora was amazing and the included dinner was some of the best Greek food we had. Definitely an amazing tour operated with kindness and compassion, and of course a very knowledgeable guide!

Dallas was a great driver... - Dallas was a great driver and guide on a rainy, foggy day. We didn’t see as much as we would have liked but that was weather driven, not the tour. I received a message the day before to confirm logistics and Dallas was early to pick us up for the tour. Dallas took care to drop us off at points close to entrances due to the rain and was close by for pickup with umbrella ready. Of the attractions visited, Thermopylae was the least impressive. The statue of Leonidas and a sign indicating a field as the archeological site was all there was to mark the battlegrounds. We were actually able to drive through the site and there were a few campers on-site as well. Meteora and Delphi were more impressive, even in the rain and fog. My two cents for others - skip Thermopylae and spend more time at the other two sites.

What fun! - Dallas was a last minute substitute driver and turned out to be a very pleasant and welcome surprise. By the end of our three days he felt more like a friend than a tour guide. He was able to quickly identify our wants and needs and shared tons of information with us. We really enjoyed our trip and would happily use him again

Fantastic Tour - We completed the Meteora & Delphi private full-day tour with Mike as our driver, and we can’t recommend him highly enough! From beginning to end, Mike was nothing short of exceptional. First of all, he was punctual and professional—he picked us up right on time, his vehicle was spotless and comfortable, and everything was organized so we could fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics. Mike’s local knowledge genuinely made all the difference. Not only did he know all the best routes (avoiding traffic jams, scenic detours, etc.), but he also shared fascinating stories—legends, history, geology, -adding real depth to every stop. He was also attentive and flexible, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, hydrated, satisfied with the pace, and getting what we wanted from the tour. He would stop and take photos of us at spontaneous photo stops, or wanted to stay a little longer somewhere, Mike adjusted without hesitation. What really stood out was Mike’s warm personality—friendly, patient, genuine. He wasn’t just our driver, he felt like a travel companion. He helped translate, recommended local places to eat, made sure we tried regional treats, and even helped us understand customs and culture we might’ve missed otherwise. In short: if you ever have the chance to book this tour, make sure you get Mike. He turned what could have been a long and tiring drive into one of the best experiences of our trip. Thank you, Mike, for sharing your passion, your knowledge, and your kindness. You made this experience unforgettable!

A Day in Northern Greece - What a great way to see some of Northern Greece! A driver, Sebastian, picked us up directly at six in the Mercedes taxi. We were able to stop for coffee and breakfast on our way to see the monasteries. We made it there before any of the tour buses to see the area with less people. My husband really enjoyed seeing the battle site between the Spartans and the Persians. I never thought I would get to see Delphi in my lifetime, but this was also a special place. It had a museum and an archaeological site and was not overrun with tourists. It made exploring the archaeological site more enjoyable. Our driver was there to wait on us the whole time. He was very knowledgeable and gave us history of all the areas we visited. afterwards, we were hosted for dinner and drinks before being returned to our front door. if you take this Tori, you’ll get a whole days worth of history, fun, and adventure.

Best tour for one day - It was an amazing experience we had. The weather was not in our favor but our guide Ozzy made sure we don’t get overwhelmed by it. He shared lots of historical stories about Delphi and meteora. He did everything he can do to make sure we get the best views and experience. God bless him and his family. To those who are planning to book this trip, please ask for ozzy to be your driver and guide.

Incredible tour! - We had only one day for an excursion outside of Athens. We couldn’t decide between Meteora and Delphi. Then we found this company, and was the only company we found that did both in one day. It’s a long day, but totally worth it. Our driver was Christos and he was amazing. He made the long day seem easy, always made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of time to spend at the stops. He taught us so much Greek history and was fun to be around. If you are looking to see the highlights without time for a multi-day excursion, this is the tour to do.

Best use of time to see sights - We had the absolute pleasure of having Sotiri (Ozzy) as our driver and tour guide to Meteora and Delphi today, and we could not recommend him more highly. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient, always putting our interests first and making sure we were comfortable throughout the journey. His driving was excellent, and he made us feel safe at all times, while his friendly nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to him, our day was seamless, informative, and truly unforgettable. If you are looking for a professional, caring, and outstanding guide, Sotiri is the one!

Your best choice for high-quality day trips out of Athens - Mike (anglicized, but a local Greek guide) was an absolutely wonderful guide. He was punctual, attentive to individual needs, excellent English skills, highly informative. And: especially kudos to his stamina, he criss-crossed the Greek mainland with us, sometimes on curvy (but also beautiful) mountain roads within a day, showing the true highlights and amazing hidden spots off the beaten track. We could not have asked for a better, and most importantly, more authentic guide with local knowledge to show us the Greek heartland. Any reader should note: you won’t find the amazing combination of Meteoras and Delphi anywhere else. If you want to the see the very best of what you can do within a day trip starting out of Athens (if you are into real Greek culture, history and gorgeous vistas, not just on the beach), then Mike is definitely your man. We would recommend him to any traveler as your best bet for a tour guide out of Athens, regardless of your specific choice of destination. 5 Stars through and through !!!

Would be great but.... - I have been contacted by travel coordinator and got informed that due to not having enough participants, this tour has been cancelled and I will receive an confirmation and refund. That happened a day before my tour so I couldn't find a new one. And I haven't received a cancellation information from viator.
