A great way to see Manhattan. - I recommend going north in the morning and south in the afternoon. Expensive like everything in New York. The ability to get off and on helps a lot but be careful of the queues that can be created.

Overall it worked great for us and saved us $600 - Thorough review incoming! We actually had generally an excellent experience with the sightseeing pass and would purchase them again if we were in NYC. I have rated it 4/5 because on the last day we used the pass, they added a whole load of new attractions, including things we had paid for ourselves already, so we were annoyed we missed out. The only attraction we had trouble getting into was Luna Park, when the pass updated above, it also added a note on the Luna Park pass item to say these were only being accepted from late May. We were annoyed the app didn't state this earlier as we had planned specifically a day in Coney Island and it basically got wasted (and it's not exactly a short trip from Manhattan to Coney Island) However aside from this, we were able to visit everything we wanted, and in the end saved about $600, so I can't complain too much (even if we paid for Luna Park, we would have still saved $hundreds overall). There was more we had planned to do, such as Edge and the Radio City tour but we were just too tired, however we could have gotten even more value out of the pass. We got the passes for six days. A few attractions we had to book onto in advance (Statue of liberty tour, 9/11 tour, AMNH, ESB, Grand Central tour, speakeasy tour, potion making @ The Cauldron) - I'd 100% recommend this so you don't miss out. We got our passes about 6 weeks in advance. There were a couple of attractions (NY Aquarium and Central Park zoo) which were 'call to book' which we did not book onto in advance even though the website said we should (due to us not having a US phone number). On both attractions they still let us in no problem, however I think this was fine in low-season. In the summer I'd definitely book. When going for the Statue of Liberty tour, a few people had another of the passes (I think GoCity) which didn't include the ferry, so they had to pay out of pocket, which really got some of them angry, whilst us with the sightseeing pass were just chilling knowing we had it included! Just something to bear in mind if you are debating between passes. Activities we did from the pass and our thoughts: 9/11 walking tour - our guide Jonathan was fantastic, probably the best tour guide we had in NYC, amazing tour. Doesn't include 9/11 museum but we learnt so much. Definitely worthwhile. AMNH - It was a good museum, probably more kid orientated. I would probably not go again as we have some amazing museums which are very similar in UK (and free!), but it was interesting, at the very least a throwback to the 'Night at the Museum' movie! Big Bus - Great way to see the city and get around during the day (last buses run at 4PM and 5PM for the different loops). The audio commentary is fine, learnt some cool things, but it was nice just to sit in the sun and watch the city go by! Bowlero - includes one game and some arcade credit. We had a great time, it was a good way to kill an hour, but bear in mind, like many places in NYC, there is a waiting list you join when you arrive. Expect a long wait if it's busy, we waited about 20 minutes with a few people in front of us. Central Park Zoo - This is a decent little zoo. Great way to kill an hour if you love animals, although it was heaving with school kids on daytrips. The Red Pandas, Snow Leopards, and Parrots were best. ESB - contrary to what a lot of people told me, this was probably my favorite observatory, especially for photography, as others like TOTR and 1 WTC had glass in the way of the view which means any photograph has glare and reflection. There was also some interesting things on the way to the top about how the ESB was built. Only thing worth noting about ESB is the queues at the top for the lifts to the observation deck were very long. We got the stairs instead but it's a heck of a workout. Just be aware you maybe in for some cardio or a long wait. Intepid museum - great for those interested in planes/boats/military/submarines. My partner is very interested in military so this was great for him, but even for me the space exhibit was very good and it was cool to go in the submarine and on and aircraft carrier. They have space shuttle Enterprise (free to see with pass) and a concord (NOT included in pass). Please note you have to be very physically mobile and reasonably slim to go on the submarine, before going on they make you jump through a hole in the wall to see if you are agile enough and can fit. Also avoid if you are claustrophobic. NY Aquarium - it's fine, I've definitely been to better aquariums, I've also been to much worse. I probably wouldn't go again, there are much better aquariums in the UK, but it's fine if you are in the area and have a few hours to kill, or are interested in marine life. It's modern, clean, there are some cool things to see. Grand Central Tour - Great little tour and so much to learn about Grand Central, our tour guide, Joe, was fantastic, very engaging and fun. They give you little over-ear headphones so you can hear the guide speak as it's very loud inside GC. One World Observatory - An amazing observatory with great views over NYC. It's the tallest building in the western hemisphere. The lift to the top was very sleek and quick, you don't need multiple lifts like ESB. Bear in mind to pick a day with good visibility - it's an extremely tall building so is often in the clouds. We were lucky as our hotel was a few minutes walk away, so we just popped in early one morning when it was sunny. Statue of Liberty tour (and ferry) - Fascinating tour includes Statue of Liberty Island and Ellis island. The tour guide tells you a bit about both on each island then lets you wander for a while. Our tour guide Charles was great and knew so much about the history of the statue and the area. I love that he had a personal connection to Ellis Island. Speakeasy Pub and Prohibition Tour - Another fantastic tour. This is not child friendly or prude friendly, a great tour of three modern and fun speakeasys (drinks/food not included). Our tour guide, Kamala, was fantastic, she was so much fun and so knowledgeable. It was also my birthday (as well as two others on the tour) and she arranged for us all to get a free treat at the second bar! The Cauldron Potion making - This was so much fun, especially if you like all things witchy/Harry Potter. So much fun to make your own potion cocktail (this place does have child friendly cocktails!). Staff were really fun and our 'potion master' Tee was great and so much fun. You only get to make one potion with the sightseeing pass whilst full paying guests get to make two. TOTR - The Rock is probably the best observatory if you want to see the 'iconic' sights of NY. ESB and 1WTC are good (in their own ways), but they are very iconic themselves so when you go up these observatories, you miss out on seeing them themselves. The literal top of Rockefeller center is pretty unassuming and boring (the fountain at the bottom is more where it's at with this one), so it's a great observatory to go up and see all the other iconic buildings all together. We went late at night so there was no queue, but I saw people queueing out the door during the daytime. It was nice to go up at nighttime and see the skyline all lit up. Side note: at one point we considered doing the Escape room but upon checking the website it was very booked up. If this is something you want to do, I would follow the website guidance that reservations are strongly recommended.

Bye bus - In just over an hour it allows you to cross the most famous neighborhoods of New York and realize the differences between one and the other. obviously it is a quick route that allows you to understand something without going into too much detail, but the numerous stops allow you to get off and get back on the next bus. I think it is more useful to do it at the beginning of your trip in order to see the areas that are most interesting and then go on foot. One passes every 15 minutes and if you want to opt to stay on the upper floor to see the city better, you need to cover up if you do it in the winter months because it is quite cold. on board you will be given free headphones that you can attach to your seat and hear the story of what you are seeing in the language of your choice. Definitely a very interesting tour especially if you are tired and want to see the city without moving too much.

Do not buy passes at Sightseeing Pass. - Our experience with this pass was not what we expected, we took one of 7 attractions for each of us x3, and we paid the cancellation insurance in case there were any unforeseen events, we had planned each day and with the 7 pass, we saw what was planned, in the end Due to time and an unforeseen event, we were not able to use the 7 attractions, leaving us with 2 left over. We called the Sightseeing Pass office, informing us that we could not spend all the passes in the end and that we had paid the cancellation insurance and our surprise was when they told us that the difference of the two unspent passes cannot be paid and that the credit is if none is used. So if there is any unforeseen event that you use only one of the passes, in the end it will be much more expensive. After this experience, I do not recommend that you buy the passes for your visits here, apart from the quality of passes/excursions/visits that they offer. . We took a bicycle tour through Centra Park and although the guide was very attentive, the level of the tour and the condition of the bicycles and the company that carried it out left a lot to be desired. I don't know about the rest of the companies that offer pass packages, but I certainly don't recommend this one. We came to Spain without being able to enjoy all the passes and in the end, the cheap thing was expensive for us. I hope this opinion helps others so they know what they are hiring for.

Woodbury Common Bus Timetable Incorrect - I'll start with the bad. My wife and I purchased the 4 attraction pass, and decided to venture out to Woodbury Common. The bus out and ticket process was fine. However, as soon as I received my electronic tickets, I received an email with amongst other things, the return times back to Manhattan. Once our shopping trip was complete (bought nothing!!), we stood at the bus stop with other passengers waiting for the bus to arrive.....the time of pickup passed by, and we waited for the next bus.... again no bus arrived. By this time we were cold and agitated. We then looked at the official bus operators timetable, and there was a discrepancy between the times listed on their website versus the times listed from the email!! We weren't prepared to wait for another 1.5hrs, so we ended up sharing an Uber back to Manhattan at a cost of $150usd (split between us and another disgruntled customer). Have emailed twice and no response, despite their own 48hr sla to respond!! On a positive, other attractions using the pass included the hop on & off bus, The Rock, The Statue of Liberty cruise & One @ WTC all worked perfectly.

disappointed! - Hello, we strongly recommend avoiding this provider or reading up on it beforehand! We want to go to America this year and bought the pass for one day. Unfortunately, reservations on the website are very complicated and sometimes not possible because only certain dates can be selected. The number provided on the website is always busy and attempts to contact them are not responded to.

They do not respond when you write to the contact email to resolve problems or questions you have. - I'm traveling to New York next month and I've already had problems. When making one of the reservations (specifically for the Empire), I did not change the date of the day that I was doing the management, when I realized the error, it only allowed me to modify the day of the visit for 5 days later, nothing to do with it with the date I need in June. Although they tell you that you can modify the reservation dates… Despite having written quite a few emails to the contact email, they have not responded to me at all, so I am still waiting for a response regarding the request or information I gave them. I hope that, as they say on the pages that I visited to see if I found any clarification of the doubts I had, the card is not activated until I go through the first attraction because if not, instead of having lost $44 I will have lost €312…

Customer service of the lowest standard. - Just returned from 5 day trip to New York, attractions passes that I had booked & printed were good to go, arrived at Statue of Liberty cruise, scanned pass not accepted , that's when it started , the 3 day pass was not accepted anywhere that we tried, both phone numbers had a not in service message, I then sent multiple emails but got no replies, I spent a good part of my trip trying to contact this company. The guy at Statue of Liberty site told me if it was up to him he would not entertain this company. I now know why, I spent a lot of my money on a pass that could not be used, but the thing that annoys me is the total lack of concern from the company, so please be aware of this company, use another sightseeing pass ,as this one is truly the pits, maybe I might get a response when they read this review, but I'm not holding my breath while I await that!!!!

AVOID THIS AT ALL COST / NO CUSTOMER SERVICE / MISLEADING INFORMATION / ATTRACTIONS NOT INCLUDED - Terrible experience, no customer service, attractions not included, hop on bus broken, i ended up paying more than what the pass promised, returned 3 days ago and still waiting for an answer. This is the worst experencie ever. Go NYCity pass instead. You will end up paying attractions as you are already there, they will now answer you, they will not honor the commitments, and you will end up frustrated while trying to manage the family expectations. It stated we needed to reserve in advance, it was impossible during the whole day, I contacted you, no answer but an automatic mail saying it would take 1 day to get a customer service. We finally got in, after changing all plans and witouth knowing if we were going to be able to make it. Your site revived when we were there a did the reservation but all plans were sent to garbage. 3. Natural History Museum... as opposed to your site indications ga+1 is not included. Only ga. Kids planned to the additional attraction so had to pay. Your public information is not misleading, is i correct. Had to pay the extras. Lost value on your plans. 4. Hop on/off, big bus. 4 hours to make it to battery park. Bus broken, no notifications, 1 hour waiting inside the bus, we missed the schedule to go to the 90 min circle line as we planned 2 hours (info said 1.5hours) to do the loop. Not 4 hours for 7 stops. Kids almost crying. We decided to step down at battery park and take the ferry to liberty island. 5. As instructed in your app went to the ticket box, and they said that they do not take the passes, particularly the flex. They said you need to get another company. So I had pay 82 usd or would had been a disaster for the family. Your site is very explicit on this attraction. This is fraudulent. In summary, 80% failures, holidays plans scrapped, and a memorable trip almost ruined... for sure, been writing you for the last 2 days, no answer. Deduct the edge if you want, but I want a refund for the 2 adults, 2 kids. Tried to use as instructed, tried to communicate and all was very poorly managed and executed on your side. Data security issues/Other peoples passes on my account!!! - This one is a little different. I purchased three 4 day passes on 31st January. The payment was successful and I received the email confirmation. However, I received two additional emails for pass purchase confirmation which were not mine. Even though no money had been taken from my account for these, they were visible on my list of passes on my sightseeing account. There is more. I then checked my personal details on my account and they were not mine. Somehow, my account had been updated with somebody else's details, but not by me. I was very concerned by this and emailed [email protected] immediately with the details. I received a response the next day stating they had been removed from my account, but when checking they were still there. I replied straight away and provided details of this. It's been over five weeks now and the majority of my chase up emails have been ignored with the only update provided is that it's been passed to IT. Given this is a date security issue, I am shocked how bad the the lack of customer service on this has been. If by some chance anyone from sightseeingpass monitors these reviews, the reference for my issue is INF00527794. No other information is being shared, as the system should have everything I've provided. I am sick and tired of sending chaser emails and would like to be contacted directly on the email address linked to the issue on your system.
