On your Thailand vacation you too can experience the excitement of fishing on Black and Blue Marlin, Tuna, King Fish, Wahoo, Shark or Barracuda in the warm waters of the Andaman Sea around Phuket. Phuket, the ‘sea Fish Capital of Asia’, offers you fishing all year round.
Depart from the pier and cruise to the fishing grounds south of Phuket, about 45 minutes away. Trolling gear is set out on the way. Lunch is freshly prepared (from your catch) aboard the boat and eaten at Racha Island. There is time for swimming and snorkeling in the bay. Racha island has crystal clear water and is full of reef fish. Afternoon, fishing session is focused on game fishing. Big game fish like Marlin and Sail fish are sometimes caught. The most common catch is Tuna and Trevally.
Itinerary
• 07:30am – 08:00am Pick up and transfer to Chalong Pier.
• 09:00am Departure from Chalong Pier begin trolling on the way to Raya islands.
• 12:30pm – 01:30pm Lunch is served on board. Optional time for swimming, relaxing and sunbathing, snorkeling.
• 02:00pm – 04:00pm Bottom fishing and trolling back to Chalong Pier.
• 04:00pm Arrive at Chalong Pier and transfer to your hotel

Awesome day out fishing adventure. - We had a great day out on the Racha Island Game Fishing & Trolling From Phuket adventure. There was trawling for fish and stationary fishing. Participants caught fish like Barracuda, small tuna, sea cod and kingfish. It was great fun. We were well looked after by the captain and crew member. I highly recommend this day tour when you're in Phuket. Booking is a simple process through Viator tours.

Fantastic fun day fishing! - Fantastic day trip fishing, great atmosphere and lots of fun, delicious lunch including the fish we caught. Cannot recommend enough, we'll worth the money!!

Fabulous day fishing 🎣 - Fabulous day! So much fun and the crew were a delight. Caught plenty of fish and enjoyed the most relaxing time on deck, sunbathing, chatting and taking in the beautiful scenery. Got to take my fish home and cook it for dinner which was a bonus! Highly recommended 5*

A great Day's Fishing - Trolling for Mackerel Tuna was great fun and we caught quite a few. The ones we caught in the morning were served up for lunch along with chicken and salads. There was an excellent crew on board who were always nearby to help. Being the only English speaker (apart from the crew) on board was challenging but I've now increased my Russian vocabulary. A great day, everything from pick up to drop off went seamlessly

Well organised tour - Nice staff and well organised. Simple but good lunch. It is really a tourist fishing trip, aiming for little fish with groundfishing and bigger ones with trolling. But as there are up to 12 people on the boat you must be lucky to get the chance to reel in a bigger fish

Not really that fantastic - Have to pay extra 500 thb for using of fishing rod. Else can choose to go for hand line which is free. Package is not really cheap. Not as fun as you imagined. Group of 8 and 6 of us have motion sickness. Boat was travelling very slow when setting off. While coming back was fast once we had our lunch. Food was decent. Nothing fantastic about. Would advice you to skip unless you really love fishing or simply Nothing to do.

do not book, run away!!! - 12 people, 4 seats, 8x10 cabin with some bed thing, i guess we lay down? boat way way too small, i got off before it left dock. no F'ing way i would go to sea on that. this should be delisted and shut down. and then they have audacity to list under luxury activities. more like a hot box prison cell. do not book!!!

Great if you want a sight seeing Tour - This was a sight seeing tour at best. It’s a 3 hour each way to fishing grounds. We from what I assumed majority of the time were not even fishing in the fishing grounds. We had a half hour were we caught what I would call bait fish ( very small MAC tuna) . Talking turns with 8 other customers pull in a trawl line 15 metres from the back of the boat. We bottom fished for 40 minutes and not one person lost a bait - we didn’t move location, nor did the staff offer any help or advice. Poor toilet facilities- but you did get to see the captain hang his tackle over the back of the boat for relief. Had lunch - probably the highly, a swim at Racha island and then 3 motor back. The staff on speak Thai - so no communication if you don’t speak the native tongue.
From leaving hotel to returning equals 11 hours - total time holding a fishing rod equals 45 minutes.
If you want to go fishing, I would be looking at more fast paced boats and a reef fishing adventure.

Very poor and wrongly advertised - Very over hyped and over advertised. BIG game fishing is not the correct description.
1. Got there and the guide told us we might catch some fish but probably not
2. Only mackerel NO big fish where we are going.
3. 8 people on boat and only 4 rods we had to draw numbers and take turns only 4 people got a small fish
4. We were given hand reels to fish over side of boat. Something you would give a child and caught 2 tiny fish.
All in all it was a very expensive but very very disappointing trip and I would not recommend to any one
