Mae Wang National Park - Begin the journey with a hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai, heading to Mae Wang National Park in Doi Lor, a serene town about 1.5 hours away. Visit Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten, known as Thailand’s Grand Canyon. These rock formations are a natural wonder, formed by eroded soil pillars. It is believed that this area was once the Ping River’s path. As the river changed course, sediment accumulated, forming hills. Over time, erosion sculpted these into unique cliffs and pillars. The Pha Chor pillars rise 30 meters high, surrounded by forest, covering a vast area. “Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten” remain largely undiscovered in Thailand.
