Loved - Had a lovely experience with our tour guide Nok. Enjoyed trekking around erawan waterfalls, as well as learning about the history of the death railway.

Private trip to Erawan waterfall - I feel like this trip is way too expensive for what it contains. For USD 200 I would expect a little more. The major issue is; 1) the trip starts from Kanchanaburi and not Bangkok, although I feel, that within $ 200, they can easily manage to provide pick and drop from Bangkok, it is just a day-long trip that concludes at 2:00 pm. The trip contains a visit to the famous and very beautiful Erawan waterfalls and a brief train trip on the Death Railway track (Thailand-Burma railway centre) to the River Khwae bridge. To make it a value-for-money trip, I would suggest adding a visit to the Railway Museum which is hardly a 5-minute drive from the bridge and the World War II cemetery which is hardly a few meters away from the museum. With $ 200, I would also suggest, if I may, to include lunch. Now the question is why did I book the tour? I was looking for a trip to the waterfalls but more affordable trips were for a group of 2 or more travellers and unfortunately, there was no option for solo travellers but this private trip which was disappointing. My original trip was also delayed by a day by the agency and I had to stay an extra day at Kanchanaburi, which I don't regret as the place is nice and historical.
