Amazing Chichen-itza - Hands down one of tge best tours we've taken. Genner our tour guide went over the itinerary, and although we are not following him around on the tour, he explained the process easy to understand both in Spanish and English. This is a long tour day from Cancun, however it is very much worth it. Chichen-itza at night was just beautiful. We were the last to get tix provided to us last, but that turned out great! We got to sit at the end of the assigned seat row, and had little to no interference from the people sitting in front of us. They ask you to not use any flash during the show, but of course there are those that don't listen. The Hubiku cenote was great, I loved that every thing was included on this tour (like fees to the parks, life jacket and lunch). The lunch served on this tour was the best one out of 3 tours we booked. Remember this is a long day traveling.

Highly recommended tour - Complies with everything offered. The buffet is not good. The time spent in Valladolid is very short. The experience in Chichen Itza was excellent. Excellent transport guide and driver.

Slight let down. - The time at Chichen Itza was wonderful! Highly recommend that portion! The Centoe swim is fun. We completely understand that we are in Mexico and Spanish is the language but guide spoke almost no English so directions about the stops was a little difficult. We did this same tour last year but we were on a motor coach. This was on a smaller bus/van so not nearly as comfortable. Our pickup time was supposed to be 10 am but was changed the day before to 11:15. Can the type of transportation and pick up time be outlined more clearly please.

Mystical excursion, between transport and beauty of the archaeological site. - The excursion is well presented, beautiful description and beautiful photos, in reality an excursion in the norm. We left Playa del Carmen with pick-up from the resort. The journey over a 15-seater van was mystical, sustained speeds with roads nothing short of practicable, continuous acceleration and braking due to bumps everywhere. Let’s move on to the attractions, since we were picked up at 11.30am and the journey to get there was 3 hours, arrived at the Hubiku cenote we had 1 hour to dive in and visit (the tequila museum was inside the cenote and we could not see it). The simple buffet lunch, corporate canteen style. Cute dances between the tables of the locals. After the view at the cenote we left for Valladolid where we could visit the town in only 30 minutes. We left and headed towards Chicken Iza where, at sunset, we waited for 7pm for the evening entrance and the show. Once you enter visit the archaeological site illuminated with blue lights and white leds. At the end of the tour we sat in front of the pyramid of El Castillo, numbered seats on the entrance ticket, and we witnessed a show/explanation of Mayan history projected directly onto the pyramid, all described in Spanish. At the end we left and returned to the various resorts/pick-up points. If the first leg was a mystical adventure the return was from movies, fast speed, overtaking on two-lane road and air conditioning I think at 10 degrees (luckily they had the sweatshirt with us). In summary average excursion, to take into account many hours of transfer, the plus was the night visit to the archaeological site. With this choice you eliminate the heat and heat of the day being an archaeological site completely open and without shelter. Pablo Judas tourist thoughtful.

Local Guide spoiled the Trip - The cenote and the pyramids were great. The guide was probably the worst I've ever had on a tour. More than 1/2 the day we were only with driver who only spoke Spanish and no English. I gelt he was rude and not good at explaining anything when he was around. He had two buses to cover and he spent most of his time on the other bus. I would fire him and if its his company never use them again, as you promise a Spanish and English experience. Unfortunately the night light show at Chichen Itza was in Spanish only so would like a copy of what the dialogue was.

Very disappointed - Sure, I’ll share my experience. There wasn’t one. My sister and I had been looking forward to this excursion for weeks but the day before we were scheduled to go, they cancelled. My rating will actually be 1.1 stars once I receive a refund.
