Highlights
  • Cenote Hubiku - This cenote is considered young, it has a circular shape and is closed by a vault, it has an opening on the surface, which allows sunlight to penetrate, once inside you can see stalagmites and stalactites in large quantities. This cenote is accessible through a tunnel with stairs
  • Chichen Itza - Chichen Itza is a world-famous Mayan ruin complex on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. A massive stepped pyramid, known as El Castillo, dominates the 6.5 sq km of the ancient city, which flourished from about the 13th century.

Graphic stone carvings survive in structures such as the ball court, the Temple of Warriors, and the Wall of Skulls.

  • Cenote Ik kil - IkKil is a cenote just outside Pisté in the municipality of Tinúm, Yucatán, Mexico. It is located in the north center of the Yucatan Peninsula and is part of the Ik Kil Archaeological Park near Chichen Itza.
  • Valladolid - Valladolid is a hospitable city full of history that makes Yucatan proud. For centuries it has been identified by the richness of the Spanish legacy embodied in its temples and the ancestry of its old neighborhoods. It has an exceptional colonial flavor. Walking through its streets, with its mansions painted in bright colors, the neighborhoods with their churches and of course the imposing convent of San Bernardino de Siena, palpable trace of the Franciscan presence throughout the peninsula, is to return to the past. Its welcoming Main Park offers the shade of its laurels to locals and strangers, and in the afternoon the birds fill the environment with their trills, announcing the end of the day.

Unique experience - loved the Cenote and the Mayan Pyramid - Recommended highly if you like history. Hopefully, the tour will arrive earlier rather than later. The Cenote experience was surreal - unlike anything I've ever done (and I'm old!)
