Wonderful day on the water. - Wonderful day on the water searching for whales and seal otters. We saw so many whales I lost count. Richard, Sandy, Megan, Janas and Eden spent the entire trip educating us while keeping up safe. Big bonus is all the wonderful pictures we received after the trip. I’d recommend this trip to anyone who asks!

Trip of a lifetime! - We were with a Road Scholar group. The weather was a little foggy early but had cleared when we left. I was so surprised by the ease of finding whales, humpbacks and orcas. We saw sea lions, seals, dall's porpoises, harbor porpoises, and eagles. The water was smooth and glassy. Perfect conditions! Trip of a lifetime!

Orcas and humpbacks - Went out today on a half day whale watching trip out of telegraph cove. Amazing experience. Saw humpbacks feeding and breaching, orcas and sealions!. Amazing work by the crew Val Connor and Kennedy despite the heavy fog!. They still got us on whales and taught us everything they could when we were looking for them. 5/5 would recommend

BEST TRIP EVER - Traveled with Road Scholar. So appreciated seeing the Orcas and humpback whales. Deeply appreciated the passion of the guides for the animals and care and compassion and concern about the environment. I came home with a renewed interest in and concern about environmental issues.

Excellent tour - great value and super crew - Our trip out of Telegraph Cove with Skipper Conner and Naturalists Kennedy and Edie was well done, with excellent presentations and an opportunity to view minke whales, Dolls porpoises, sea lions, humpback whales, and a family of orcas. We were impressed by the conduct of the tour, emphasizing the need to stay a safe distance from the orcas to maintain their ability to travel unimpeded. Staff were clear that rules are set and meant to be followed clearly. We were impressed by the policy of Prince of Whales that photos were taken by one of the staff using excellent equipment and provided to all of us at the end of the tour at no extra charge. This enabled us to enjoy the trip without having our phones up and ready all the time. We now have great photographic memories of a great time on the water!

Expectations were high... - Expectations were high and expectations were exceeded. we highly recommend this experience. We all appreciate the pictures that were taken by the professional staff, and passed on to us, which is included in the tour.

Stellar sea lions? More like stellar crew - We had the pleasure of being aboard with captain Connor, first mate Edie, and naturalist Kennedy. This crew was an incredible asset to have as they were not only knowledgeable, but willing to answer all questions- big & small. One thing I think is valuable to note is that they don’t use sonar, as this can disrupt the whales communications, so this really shows how much they value leaving nature natural. On our trip we had the pleasure of viewing I think 7 orcas from the a50 pod, too many humpbacks to even count, dalls porpoises, and even a nice huddle of stellar sea lions- we later saw one sea lion basking in the sun alone on a rock which was a peaceful sight. All crew members were truly a pleasure, but most of our time was spent around Kennedy, which her knowledge and love for what they do really shined. One thing I can’t recommend enough however is to bring binoculars! Though we get to see these creatures nice and close, it’s important to keep some distance, so binoculars really are an asset. And even on a seemingly warm day, a jacket is ideal. Also bringing a little snack may be a good idea, however we didn’t and we were okay

Humpbacks! - I believe it was worth the drive out to Telegraph Cove. We went with Prince of Whales because it was a larger company and this was our first time. We also opted for the boat and not the zodiac as my kids do get sea sick and glad to see they did not get sick and enjoy themselves. We lucked out on the weather, it was gorgeous and sunny. Even out on the water I was in shorts and a t-shirt. But I don't recommend that for everyone, it was definitely cooler on the water and I was the only one. The rest of the family and passengers were in layers (I run hot). We saw many humpback whales & porpoises. I did enjoy the fact I could just watch and enjoy while the crew took pictures for us as part of the cost.
I was surprised there was only paid parking at Telegraph Cove. But walking around the historical dock was a sight in itself. We even saw jellyfish off the pier. The one side was devastated by a fire on new years, but I am glad they are rebuilding.

Pacific in the blanket - I had high expectations. I wish I could have seen the killer whales. Instead, thanks to the gloomy day, we saw little and nothing and that not far away. That's too bad. Gray and black landscape, all seasoned with cold.....
