Magical day - Amazing day. Well organised bus trip with lots of stops at scenic locations, even a few extras as some Kea’s were spotted in a car park and the bus driver stopped. Great educational commentary on the bus trip, loved it! The cruise was magical. Lunch packs available straight away. Captains commentary was fantastic and he spotted dolphins twice and spent a great amount of time close to the dolphins. The fjord is nothing short of magical, and we are so glad we got the coach and didn’t self drive as the roads were very steep and it was great to have the commentary. Also the Kea’s love to attack the rubber seals of cars so we were glad our car wasn’t in the Milford car park. 10/10 day and would do again!

Beautiful Milford Sound not to be missed - As expected, the experience with the boat ride in-between the valleys and mountains was truly amazing. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day which gave us a good experience. On the other hand, as there is no rain, we didn’t see lots of waterfalls except a few small ones and of course, Stirling Falls are still beautiful. We also saw pods of dolphins and one lonely seal ! Lunch was included and it was basic ( either hot chicken/mushroom or hot veggie pie to choose from ) , fruit and some snacks. We would like to have had more options to be provided as one of us was not catered for. Drinks and other food can be purchased on board. Driver is very informative and helpful in giving us commentary and lots of brief stops for some very scenic photo opportunities along the way. The journey itself felt quite long as is 2 hours from Te Anau and 3.5 hours from Queenstown. I am glad someone was driving instead of us.

Milford Sound day out - Great day. Debbie the driver and guide was excellent. The only drawback was the boats were too busy. Time management was perfect. The packed lunch was tasty

Not for families with young children - The cruise part of this tour was great - the driver was entertaining and made sure we saw all the sights. Unfortunately we can’t say the same about the bus ride. We were split up as a family as the bus driver was supposed to allocate seats for groups but didn’t so as a family of 4 with 2 young children we had to sit separately. Apparently the driver ‘tried’ to negotiate with individuals to allow us to at least sit in pairs but we saw none of this. As the drive is a significant part of this tour, it was very uncomfortable and disappointing. You should never be paying this much for a tour and be made feel uncomfortable for so much of the day. I would recommend another company of you want to enjoy this tour with your family.

Yeah ok wouldn’t do it again tho - Bus trip had a driver with such a heavy Scandinavian (?) accent we missed most of what he was saying. We didn’t stop at Mirror lake & the stops seemed to be just pullover on the side of the road - not sure on what we were looking at but that may have been the weather. Lunch was a pie with chips fruit & a muesli bar ( if the teens were boys they would have been starving) The other groups had huge sandwiches , snacks and a drink. . The bus ride limited numbers but the cruise had heaps more people (2-3 times) One drink machine which meant the wait time was ages. We managed to grab a drink just as they were closing it
