Fabulous Trip book with confidence. - Wow the trip does what it says on the tin. No random shopping stops no over priced poor quality restaurants but a smooth drive to 3 great sights with a super knowledgeable guide Dimi. Plenty of time to see and learn about the sights. Take your own lunch or chance to pick some up and picnic at the sight. Lovely walking but probably not for folk with limited mobility. Really well organised from the minute we booked and glass of wine to end with a nice touch.

Great experience in Rainbow mountains - Wonderful nature, wonderful monastery and Metro was the superb guide. We stopped multiple times, got very detailed information about the history and culture of Georgia, and it was a fabulous day.

Amazing Rainbow Mountain and David Gareja Tour! - Loved the Rainbow Mountains and David Gareja tour with Deme! He’s sooo descriptive and shared a lot! Really memorable, with 2 volumes of hiking! We saw 2 turtles! And we went to David’s Tear as well which was another highlight! Super loved this tour, met new cool people from all over the world. Our driver Alika is also a skilled driver! Oh and we spent some time in the Salt Lake! Totally not to be missed! Would go again! Thanks Deme and Alika! Much love from me!

Great excursion! - Great excursion with Demetri and Alika. We hiked in the rainbow mountains Sky before discovering the monastery. It was sweaty but magnificent and Demetri's explanations were very appreciable. Thank you for this excursion.

Get out in nature - This tour was a great mix of history and getting out in nature. There is a physical component to be aware of here, stairs and small hill climbs, but if you are relatively fit you should be fine. The views from the monastery complex are unbeatable.

Very pleasant excursion - A highly recommended visit. We left Tbilisi and our first stop was at a supermarket with multiple food options, which we then ate while having a picnic next to the monastery. The next stop was the salt lake. Next we went for a walk on Rainbow Mountain, which is right in front of the monastery. Finally, after our picnic, we entered the monastery. It is a peculiar place, with its caves and its austere church. Our guide, Shoti, only made the day better. He made the day very enjoyable and was happy to answer the many questions we asked him. A wonderful day

Amazing trip to the David Gareja Monastery - Gamarjoba Georgia Tours, and our brilliant tour guide Demetri, did an amazing job of ferrying us from the centre of Tbilisi out to the border with Azerbaijan, and the astounding David Gareja monastery and Rainbow Mountains. Demetri was a terrific guide - full of deep knowledge of Georgia’s history and Georgian trivia, and very knowledgable about the monastery itself. He kept us entertained throughout the trip, and there weren’t many limits to what he knows! The monastery itself is a sight to behold - steeped in history and beauty. If you’re looking to get out of Tbilisi for a day and get deep into the heart of Georgian countryside (but not wine country!), then I highly recommend this trip. It was well worth doing. Oh, and we saw wild turtles!

Gorgeous Georgia! - Dimitri and the driver Nodo were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. What a lovely way to learn about Georgia and see the views of the countryside from the back seat of a comfortable car! The monastery and rainbow mountains are truly a sight to behold.

Calm escape to the monastery in the mountains - After a week in Tbilisi, this tour was a welcome day away from the city! Demetri was fantastic at giving us lots of historical information and answered any questions we wanted to ask. I appreciated his calming guiding style - giving us breaks but moving us from one spot to the next with the perfect amount of time to see everything!

Absolutely worth it - My daughter and I really enjoyed this. It was easy to meet up, efficiently handled, and the guide, Dmitri, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He took special care to ensure that I, the oldest, could navigate the hilly parts of the hike. I'm sorry that I didn't catch the driver's name; he deserves a shout-out too. Views are spectacular, and the turtles are an extra bonus. No viper snakes were seen. Highly recommended.
