- Jinvali Water Reservoir - We start our tour by visiting Jinvali dam. It became a new water supply for Tbilisi in 1985. As a result, we have a beautiful lake with stunning views of the water and surrounding colorful forests. At this place, you can grab some coffee, buy souvenirs and of course shoot some beautiful pictures with the amazing views of Jinvali.
- Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Afterward, we stop to explore Ananuri Fortress Complex. This place attracts everyone with its views and history. Ananuri Fortress was one of the strongest strongholds of medieval times in Georgia. It was attacked many times throughout the centuries but it still stands to attract more and more guests every day. Currently, this castle is a UNESCO Heritage Site and its merging with the beauty of the Aragvi gorge gives this place a flawless charm.
- Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - If you ask someone what to try in this region they will definitely answer: “Ski if there is a snow and do paragliding!”
By heading up the military highway our next stop is Georgian - Russian friendship monument from where you can see breathtaking view of Caucasian mountains and of course you have an opportunity to try paragliding which is once in a lifetime experience.
- Gergeti Trinity Church - Gergeti Trinity Church - XIV century complex built on 2200 meters above the sea level. Many travelers consider it as a real paradise on earth. It is a church surrounded by a thrilling nature and the British newspaper Telegraph has placed it in the list of the most beautiful churches in the world.

Please Note:
We will be venturing into the mountains, so anticipate chilly weather conditions and bring warm clothing and comfortable footwear.
Roads are occasionally blocked due to snowfall, preventing us from going past Gudauri, but don’t fret. In such a scenario, we remain at the ski resort in Gudauri and get the chance to ski, ascend the peak by cable car, try paragliding, ride ATV bikes, go horseback riding, and more.

Breathtaking Gudauri tour with Luka and Mancho ♥ - We are grateful to Luka (our enthusiastic tourguide) and Mancho (our highly-skilled lady driver) for the Gudauri tour. We felt comfortable during our entire travel from Tbilisi to Gudauri. We had our stopovers and Luka was so knowledgeable about the area, giving us a detailed explanation of each location's history. They also recommended a good restaurant where we can taste their local food. Thank you Luka and Mancho for making our snow experience very memorable and wonderful!

Spectacular Private Tour to Kazbegi / Jinvali / Stepantsminda - I have visited Tbilisi a few times in the past and on this occasion, as I had a bit more time, I wanted to spend a day visiting the mountains. I am thrilled that I did!
We booked relatively last minute but Lela was extremely helpful and I was able to communicate with her easily via WhatsApp to make all the arrangements. She answered any questions quickly, listened to what I wanted and designed a schedule around that. I was so impressed with her professionalism.
Our driver, Michael, arrived on time and was absolutely brilliant. As well as giving us the usual ‘tourist information’, he took the time to tell us more intricate details about Georgian culture. This was really good as it meant that we developed a better understanding of the Georgian people / way of life.
As we had a private tour, we had a more flexible schedule and Michael was very accommodating, taking us to a mountain festival celebration and also visiting the beach on the Jinvali reservoir on the way back to Tbilisi. I can also confirm, or more specifically my girlfriend can confirm, that he’s an excellent photographer and we have some great pictures of the trip!
The highlight for both of us was the spectacular views along the way, at the various stop-offs. There are some incredible sights to behold along the way.
Overall, I highly recommend Lela and Michael. A wonderful day!

Amazing 10 days in Georgia - I found “We are Georgia tours through TripAdvisor “ . Lela was my point of contact and she did an excellent job in organising our private 10 day tour around Georgia. Great views and guide - Enjoyed getting to see outside of Tbilisi! Tons of natural beauty going through the mountains as well as stopping to see all the incredible sites.
Luka is very friendly as well and has plenty of knowledge about the area. Helped make the trip out to Georgia unforgettable!

Great tour with Luka from Tbilisi to Kazbegi and back - Luka took us on a great tour going north of Tbilisi. He was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable about all the stops on the tour. The scenery was awe-inspiring and the churches we visited equally as beautiful.
Also, ask him how to eat Khinkali. He’s a professional!

Adventure trip - It would be a great loss if we didn't do this trip. Mr Mirian and Ms Lela was superb guides. They knows the whole history of the places. We enjoyed the Original tradition food. Special thanks to Mirian, who took us that traditional Georgian restaurant.
The off road journey also was nice. Even though it was very short distance, we could enjoy the off road experience. Thank you Mirian and Lela.

A must see - An amazing tour. Nature is absolutely breathtaking
and we enjoyed all the stops we made on the way to the Caucusus. Stopped at the Jinvali dam for sometime, enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and did a quick souvenir shopping and continued to Ananuri and then all the way to Gudauri. The weather wasn’t in our favour, was a bit foggy (so it’s a good idea to check the weather forecast before you go) but that did not make the tour any less enjoyable thanks to our friendly and professional tour guide Lela.

Don’t leave Georgia without doing this tour - Exceptional tour…some of the most breathtaking nature I’ve ever seen… and Lela makes sure you are 100% comfortable. She picks you up from your hotel in a nice comfortable car and gives you a private tour tailored to your interests. All the stops were amazing: Zhinvali dam, Ananuri Fortress, Russian Georgian Friendship Arch, Lunch at the Rooms hotel/restaurant and Gergeti Trinity church. Just a magical day. Lela is very knowledgeable about the history and is a certified tour guide. You are in excellent hands. Highly recommend this tour.
