Additional Information

Our expeditions are tailored to accommodate new and beginner paddlers. We constantly adapt to your pace, so there’s no need to stress about exhaustion. Bring a friend along and join us on our top-ranked Eco-Tour through the lush mangrove habitats. Choose between a single or double kayak and serenely traverse over our crystal clear and shallow water that contains sponges, grass beds, and sandy areas. By looking beneath the surface, you might catch a glimpse of a petite nurse shark, a turtle or a stingray, or you may spot dolphins and manatees. Overhead, expect to see herons, pelicans, and ospreys roosting on mangroves and fishing. Although we cannot guarantee animal encounters, we always witness something fascinating in this unique estuary ecosystem, which commences right at the back of our outlet.

Must see! - Jack spent the time to teach us about the Florida ecology and guide us through the maze of mangroves. An amazing time for an afternoon trip. Even got to see a manatee!!

Good, easy experience with family. No notes. - Fun time, good guide. We followed 3 manatees for like 20 minutes, saw dolphins, went through many mangroves as promised. Kayak was enough for a 13/14 year olds to maneuver. Inexperienced younger kids (<12) probably need to use a double kayak with a parent steering. 10:30 AM time was easy check in, start time, and departure with no issues or delays at all. Bring your own sunscreen, water, water proof phone bag/case if you want to save money, but they have all that there if you need to purchase.

Manatees, Sharks, Stingrays oh yes! - Capt. Jack was a great guide, he kept it light, pointed out sting rays, etc along the way. The trip was a win in every respect. Worth the trip.

Fun kayaking trip! - We did this tour as a family of six, most with limited kayaking experience. We took out 3 doubles and managed very well. Our guide Brittany was excellent, she provided advice on steering and where to paddle the kayak in varying conditions, she was also very informative about wildlife in the area. We saw manatee, nurse sharks, tree crabs on the mangroves and a variety of birds. I would recommend this trip.
