Wonderful experience - Our Driver Ben was a wealth of knowledge, the day was magical. Day had a bad start due to other passengers not being on time for their pick up, some 20 minutes late, but I congratulate Ben on his organisational attitude to get the day on a positive from then on. Such a beautiful place to experience, the walks we did were easy going, we enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

Cradle mountain - Our tour guide Ben was exceptional with his knowledge . Loved tour overall especially the tour of forest and Ashgrove cheese factory.

Excellent tour! - This tour was enjoyable from beginning to end. It started with a scenic drive to the town of Sheffield. I especially liked the fantastic views of Mount Roland. Our guide, Ben, provided excellent commentary on the historical, cultural and economic aspects of the region. He was also a wealth of knowledge on the both the flora and fauna we encountered during the tour. When we reached Dove Lake and saw Mount Cradle it was easy to understand why it is regarded so highly. The view was just magnificent. We were very lucky because as our time at the lake was coming to a close, it started to rain and the fog significantly affected visibility. After lunch, we went to the chalet built by Gustav Weindorfer. Overall, his story is a sad one, but his home and the surrounding King Billy Pine forest were marvels. Thank you Ben for a memorable day!

Cradle Mountain - Cradle Mountain is so beautiful, we love it so much. The lake is so blue and clear. Our guide is so knowledgeable.

It’s all down to the Guide - Having completed six tours in Australia during our stay, it all comes down to the guide. If you are lucky and get Ben then you will enjoy the benefits of his extensive knowledge of the area. He is also a very cautious and capable driver which is particularly important given some of the challenging highways and byways of Cradle Mountain. We had a wonderful, memorable day!
