Far more than a boat taxi.. take it! - Far more than a boat taxi. It was a fabulous mini excursion where we saw dolphins and th a local sea life in their glass bottomed boat. Highly recommended 👌

Definitely go! - Great trip over to Puerto Calero, a nearby harbour town. You get to stop for a few minutes to view the fish from the glass bottom and there’s a bar if you fancy a beer too! If you’re a walker, get a one way ticket and walk the beach path back to Puerto Del Carnen.

Hilarious ‘Skipper’ - Excellent experience - made even more so by the ‘Captain’ - she was hilarious - we did wonder if she was a stand up comedian in her spare time!! It’s a lovely trip and a fab way to get from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto Calero.

Very helpful staff. Over and above. - My elderly Aunts all took the Waterbus from Puerto del carmen, and the return journey. All of them have mobility issues, and three were using a rotalor each. The staff on the return journey went over and above to help the ladies disembark , and were concerned about how they would travel back to the apartments. Intrepid explorers as these ladies are, despite mobility issues… they had perhaps underestimated this part of the journey. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the female member of the crew who actually drove them back to their apartment in her own car!! This was a very compassionate act, and obviously over and above her duties: but clearly a very kind and thoughtful person. Thank you, and I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.

Lovely boat ride back to Puerto del Carmen after walk along the coast path to Puerto Calero - Found out about this at Puerto del Carmen Tourist Office just prior to walking from there to Puerto Calero. The option of a pleasant water taxi back was very appealing, and having asked at the market in Puerto Calero, we found the boarding area at the gat end of the harbour quite easily. We were fortunate with timing as the boat was just arriving so only had to wait 15mins or so to board (departures every 90 mins approx given that the trip takes 30 mins or so each way). You can pay on board if you haven't bought a ticket in advance. Lovely way to complete the round trip, and it was made fun by the crew members. 😀

A must do if you are in this scene - To change from hiking, a return trip by "batobus" allowed us to take a boat trip. Lanzarote seen from the sea is beautiful and different. And the crew is friendly.

Awful Experience - We bought our ticket at the kiosk in Puerto del Calero where we were advised just go to the right where there was a boarding sign and a ramp. We all gathered there to board only to see the boat going out at far end of harbour Ticket seller said we should have checked with him and he said he couldn't believe not one of 30 people checked with him when we saw boat was late. We advised signage was clear and after some arguing he agreed to refund everyone.
