We tread the path once trodden by Emperor Hadrian who, in the year 122 AD, graced the spectacular city of Tarraco with his presence, marking it as one of the crown jewels of his expansive empire. Our journey commences at the grand scale model of Tarraco, leading us towards the Praetorium Tower. Here, we reminisce the glory of the Temple of Augustus and take a tour of the great arches underpinning the Provincial Forum and the Circus stands. As we wrap up our expedition at the periphery of the Amphitheater, we unfold the secrets of the final architectural marvel established in the city under the rule of Hadrian.

Terragona: a city to discover - A guided tour that corresponded with a leap into the past of the city of Terragona! Highly recommended even for Italians who don't speak Spanish! The description of the places, monuments and events are clearly understood. The staff is professional and welcoming! I hope to return soon because I'm sure Terragona has other surprises in store for me

Fabulous Tour. - The experience has been phenomenal, especially because of the guide Miguel, who knew the history of Tarragona perfectly. Which is definitely a great unknown. 100% recommended.

Tarragona at its best with ITINERE guided tours - I had the pleasure to join a small guided group during Christmas. My guide, Georgia, is TOP-TOP: I liked her explanations, the way she guided us throught the small streets, the knowledge she has as professional guide. All in all, I do recommend ITINERE if you ever visit this city. And I am sure that if I ever come back to Tarragona, I will no doubt, choose ITINERE again. Thanks for an enjoyable 2h30! A two-hour private tour with Georgia - The tour was filled with very useful contextual information, anecdotes and attention to always explaining where we were standing (compared to the antic city of Tarraco).
We enjoyed the easy going way of our guide and her recommendations. The added value of someone who knows the city best is incomparable!

Romans for two hours! - We chose this tour in English for the family from Switzerland and me. The guide's (native English) knowledge of Tarraco history was incredible! His enthusiasm infected us and for two hours we became Romans living in Tarraco! :-)

Excursion of 10! - Beautiful tarraco! A highly recommended 2-hour walk, beautiful and curious at the same time. The best thing is the guide, Georgia, her enthusiasm and energy telling the Roman history of the city, keeps you hooked the entire time. A 10!

No value to tour if you don’t speak Catalan. - We looked for an English Speaking tour. None around. Our tour guide was clearly detailed and thorough in his presentation. Just didn’t work for us.

Beautiful Tarragona - A half-day visit starting from Barcelona to the ancient Roman city of Tarragona is worth it. The train journey is already interesting (about an hour's journey, with a route entirely along the Mediterranean Sea. The city offers splendid ancient remains, primarily the amphitheatre, the walls and the hippodrome, as well as the splendid Gothic cathedral with an interior full of wonderful works. The historic center is beautiful and the seafront is lively.

A guide without the desire to guide. - Disappointing. In any documentary they give you more information than on this visit. The visit consisted of walking through Roman Tarragona and giving four dull and lame explanations. I made this same visit a couple of years ago and it was exceptional, with another guide, of course.
