5* - everything you need to see from Tangier in one day - Rachid, the tour leader, is a fantastic person, he tells all the stories in English and Spanish, he shows everything from Tangier that is possible in 7 hours. We saw the natural wonders of the Moroccan coast, rode camels, ate a delicious medina lunch and walked through the old town of Tangier (Jewish and Muslim church, snake charmer, textile factory, medicinal plants) and had some free time. The Tarifa - Tangier boat is also very comfortable and fast.

Awesome Tangier Experience - The whole day was wonderful. Our small group of 9, despite our different languages, helped each other out with selfies, and had fun together. Our guide Rashid was phenomenal. He has been a tour guild for 40 years, and seemed to know everyone along the way. He shared interesting information all day long, and watched out for us. Lunch was delicious, relaxing and accompanied by traditional musicians. We stayed as a group most of the day, and then had a little while to explore the market on our own, but we only broke into two groups to walk about. As a solo female traveller, I appreciated being able to tag along with one of the groups, although Rashid had offered to walk with me

Tangier Highlights - Great adventure filled with highlights of Tangier. Tour guide spoke good English and took good care of us. A little more time at cape spartel and Hercules caves would have been good.

Great experience, watch out for schedule change 👍 - With the exception of the unexpected schedule change, great and worthwhile experience. At 7:09 AM, received a WhatsApp text to be at the port by 8 AM (vs. 10 AM scheduled time)!

1 day trip to Tangiers from Tarifa - We did a day trip to Tangiers leaving from Tarifa. Overall, this met my expectations. We were not exactly sure what to look for at the Port in Tarifa but eventually we (and everyone else on the trip) found our guide who was helpful in explaining what was going on. We ended up arriving a bit early only to find out that we were actually on a ferry leaving an hour later than we thought, but perhaps this is necessesary to ensure people show up on time. Once we got over to Tangier we all followed our guide to the bus and began the tour. We went to all the typical tourist places and got to spend a short time at some camels you could do a short ride for 2 euro pp. Poor camels I thought. The tour stopped at a number of places that are just setup to sell you things. The last hour or so of the tour in Tangier allows for some free time to explore on your own. As you can expect, there are people trying to sell you all kinds of things. Just decline if not interested and keep walking. Some will follow you, but just keep going. A bit pricey but for one day in Morocco, but glad we did it. I would not really have wanted to just wing this and some of the sites on the west side are not walkable at all.

Mismatched expectations - We were disappointed not to see the Hercules caves. The tour stopped at the caves for about 10 minutes but didn’t include entry and we weren’t allowed to go in. We were also frustrated with the unscheduled stops at local shops where they sat us down for 30 mins - 1.5 hours listening to sales pitches (for rugs, blankets, perfumes etc.). This wasn’t included in the program and wasn’t presented as optional when we were on site. The bus was comfortable and the guide was friendly. There were additional charges for things like riding the camels or drinks (including water) at the restaurant, this was mentioned up front.

Very Improveable Experience - I'm sorry to say that as a fairly regular experience. First they couldn't find our reservation, then it turns out they put us with a couple of Canadians and so they couldn't find it. Talking to other travelers they tell us that they had paid 80 and a half euros for exactly the same experience (we paid 115). The mediocre food: lots of couscous grits and little meat and vegetables and drinks apart from what no one told us before. And then two visits to shops (one to a loom and the other to an essence and cosmetics store) in which we were a precious time and barely free time to tour the center of Tangier on our own, of the two hours promised we were just one. I'm sorry but I can't recommend it.

Terrible experience - Terrible experience. There were way too many people on the tour for one guide and we weren’t able to hear anything. We purchased a camel upgrade and it wasn’t even mentioned during the tour. The lunch that was supposed to be included brought us beverages without telling us that we had to pay extra for drinks. It was over 45 euro for drinks. We ended up leaving early because it was so bad. Our guide was very kind but he needed additional support with a group that large.

Poor planning - 1. They wanted to see many things in no time, 5 hours including food, and this trip was calculated to see Tanger and surroundings. Which puts you in a hurry to make the short stops. The surprise was when the stops at 2 concerted stores took much longer than necessary to Shopping in them. I would have appreciated a stop in cultural areas....with more time and explanation. 2. The typical food they gave us.... It would have been nice to have European alternatives... for children, or those who do not like this type of food, in the end it is a 1-day trip... Really one of the Trips I liked the least due to your planning
