Wonderful Experience - This was a great small group experience. We were two couples. Tangier is very beautiful and our guide, who grew up there, was able to give us tons of insights into the history and culture. I would recommend this trip.

Great Day - Perfect Day. We paid extra and had a private tour to Tangiers. Our family of 4 was picked up at our accommodations at 6 in the morning. There was a 2:30 min. driver to Tarifa. Took a 1 hour ferry over to Tangier. Seamlessly met our guide in Tangier. We had a driver and a guide. The guide was amazing. His name is Sarhan, he grew up in the community of Casbah and had such an easy way about him. I would ask specifically for him, I cannot imagine anyone better. We toured Casbah, the markets and had an authentic lunch, which was fantastic and included....also, bought a Moroccan Rug...not in the plans, but will be a great family memory. We saw a snake charmer, had pictures with a monkey and parrot, etc. The tour continued to caves, a light house and we opted for a walk on the beach vs. a camel ride on the beach. That decision worked best for us, but I can see how those with little ones would love the camel ride. We had other stops in between, but can't remember exactly what they were, but all was well done. Then, back to the ferry for a ride to Tarif and van ride home. We got home around 10:30. I would highly recommend Not Just a Tourist. The communication can be slow at times, but they got the job done in a big way. They are a small company and do not always respond in a timely manner. Just be patient with them, it was worth it. Of note: We had a perfect weather day, 70 degrees and virtually no wind on the Strait of Gibraltor. The guide told us that the week before, the ferry only operated one day out of the 7 because of weather. You might want to have a back up plan for the day if you happen to be scheduled on a bad weather day when the ferry does not operate. For reference, we traveled on March 27th.

Day trip to Tangier - Be prepared for a long day with a lot of walking and the ferry sometimes gets canceled due to weather. Otherwise it was an awesome experience, fun and informative. Our guide, Omar, made the whole experience so memorable with his fun personality and humor. 10/10

Amazing trip between continents - A unique experience and a really cool day out to Tangier. Not Just a Tourist took care of all the logistics making it a seamless trip between continents. The day stated early with Dani picking us up for a 2 hour trip to the port in Torifa. He was really nice and friendly and let us catch up on some sleep on the drive down. Once in Torifa he explained the boat procedure and sent us on our way to the ferry terminal. Not Just a Tourist took care of all the ferri bookings, we just gave a confirmation code and we were on our way. Remember to get your passport stamped on the boat while sailing or you will have to go back onboard to do it Once landed, we met our guide Mohcine and our driver Yasim who were fantastic. Mohcine was a delight the whole time and made us feel like locals with stories and introducing us to other locals. We added the optional camel ride which was good fun. Lunch was also included and was delicious, and the fruit was so tasty. Much better than back home. We left Mohcine for the 7pm ferry where we met Dani again to drive back to Sevilla. Overall a fantastic day and a credit to all those involved in making our day special.

Amazing One Day Tour of Tangier - We did a day trip to Tangier and our guide for the day was Mohcine. We were so grateful for his hard work, passion, patience, and great information about Tangier and Morocco throughout our tour. This experience made us eager to return to Morocco and learn even more! He went above and beyond to make our day in Tangier truly amazing! We also had a great experience booking with Masha, and with our wonderful driver Mohammed. I would very highly recommend working with Not Just a Tourist! Can't wait for our next trip! :) PS: For anyone who might be hesitant given the expense of the tour for one day, as we were initially, this is so completely worth it! The help with scheduling the ferry, with escorting us through the whole day, and the wonderful lunch experience made this absolutely worth it, and we would do this tour again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for a wonderful and truly memorable experience!
