Morocco - We did a day tour through Tangier and while it was definitely a full day, our guide Abdul made the experience memorable and smooth from start to finish. Abdul was so accommodating—when I started feeling a little carsick early in the tour, he instantly adapted the plan to focus more on outdoor stops and less time driving. He adjusted the whole day around our timing and preferences, all with a great attitude and warm energy. He was full of fascinating stories, and we always felt taken care of. This tour is great for travelers who want to pack a lot into one day—it’s fast-paced, with lots of moving around, different stops, and activity changes. For us, it felt a bit overwhelming at times, but Abdul’s presence kept it grounded. He was also super respectful when we said we weren’t interested in shopping, and still made sure we saw the cultural highlights. One of the best moments was sitting down for Moroccan mint tea—so refreshing and delicious! And when it came time to catch our ferry back to Spain, Abdul made sure we had everything we needed and got there on time. Truly above and beyond. If you're looking for a dynamic, all-in-one-day type of experience in Tangier, I highly recommend it—and especially recommend Abdul as your guide.

Fabulous day in Tangiers - This day was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. Our guide, Coca-Cola, was extremely knowledgeable about the city and made sure to ask and include things that matched our interests. His driver, who we named sidekick Sprite, drove us to some beautiful lookout spots and we always felt safe and taken care of. Coca-Cola took us to some fantastic restaurants. As our group included some serious foodies good food is always near the top of the list of things to experience. We were not disappointed. The camel ride along the beach is also something we’ll always remember. We also experienced a snake charmer, Hercules caves, a synagogue and did some shopping. Viator were very accommodating when a change to the ferry schedule made the new pickup time extremely early for some members of our group. They changed our day with no issue to give us a later time and the driver accompanied us to the ticket office to ensure there were no problems with new tickets. We highly recommend this tour. We travel a lot and this tour will definitely be one we talk about and remember as a great day. Be sure to ask for guide CocaCola and his sidekick driver Sprite when you book!

THE perfect day! - This was worth every single cent! When they say private tour, believe it! I was traveling solo and apprehensive about going to Tangiers alone. Many tours charge you for 2 people when traveling solo. I found Ali Tours after reading the reviews and was treated to the most perfect day. A driver met me at my Airbnb, drove me from Malaga, walked me into the ferry station in Tarifa, filled out my paperwork and made sure I was taken care of. At the ferry port in Tangiers, Hamza, Ali's brother, met me and gave me the day of a lifetime. I was treated like a queen, never waited in a line, and was given the courtesy of choosing what I wanted to do and see. At every stop I was given the royal treatment. Hamza knew everyone and everyone knew him. I was treated to a typical Moroccan breakfast with mint tea, A perfect camel ride on the beach. The minute I stepped on to the sand, a camel was waiting, even though there were many other people waiting. When i say treated like royalty, I mean it! Tangiers was beautiful, clean and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this experience with Hamza, the drivers and the guides at each of the stops. Lunch was a special treat with live music, a giant traditional lunch and a serenade for my birthday! I know. Seems too good to be true. But believe me, it was well worth the money, the getting up early and the drive. Do it! Let Ali, Hamza and the rest of the team treat you to the beauty of Tangiers.

Seeing Tangiers, Morocco in one day!! - This service is a private tour. It was incredible and totally worth it! My husband and I had our own driver and tour guide. Our guide, Abdul, was open to all our questions and we were able to go as fast or as slow as we wanted or where we needed to go. He was also popular among the locals. We were able to try out authentic Moroccan food- they were delicious and flavorful! We saw highlights of the Cave of Hercules- thanks to our insider guide Ahmed. The camel ride was very memorable! The walking part of the tour- Kasbah and Medina was informative and eye opening. The presentation of the Moroccan carpet shopping was quite a show! This is the tour to pick- stress free and fun!

Great day trip for the whole family - We really enjoyed our day trip to Morocco. Ali as very helpful (even advising us to change the day of our trip so we could avoid being there when the cruise ship was in port) and provided helpful and clear instructions prior to our trip. He arranged for our driver to and from Malaga - Aisaam was great - right on time, helped us fill out the customs forms prior to our ferry and was waiting for us when we returned. Hassan (aka Coca Cola) was our guide for the day. He is super knowledgeable and was able to make the day interesting and engaging for our 12 yr old son. That’s a win in my book! We saw, learned and ate a lot! The camel ride on the beach was everyone’s favorite, followed by the time we spent waking around the old Medina. Everyone seems to know Coca Cola, we got to see some extra little cafes and views because of this. The rug buying experience was unlike anything we had experienced and he helped us get a good deal on a couple beautiful rugs. It’s a long day but well worth the time and money. Everything was smooth and we felt totally taken care of! Special thanks to Coca Cola for taking such great care of us and keeping our son engaged and interested!

Great tour for new visitors to Tangier - We just completed our day-trip to Tangier. Although the trips usually start in Malaga, we arranged to be picked in Alhaurin el Grande, which was very helpful. Our driver Aissam was waiting at the pick-up point when we arrived. The ride to Tarrifa was safe and efficient. There was a stop near Gibraltar for coffee and a quick bite, before being dropped at the entry of the ferry across the straights. If you not used the ferry before, I will offer this pro tip - once you board, go immediately to the passport control sign and get in line. There is some paperwork that has to be processed before arrival in Tagier, and the line fills up fast. We were met in Tangier at the ferry arrivals door by our guide Ali and driver Akmed. The tour content was great for first-time visitors to the country and the continent. Ali provides tons of local cultural info, along with ton of history, including the various peoples who migrated or fled to Tangier over the centuries. The breakfast and lunch stops included delicious and authentic Morrocan foods at clean, friendly restaurants. The stops at Hercule's cave and the markets were a couple of our favorites. Beware of Muhammed in the carpet shop though! If you're not careful, you could go home with a couple of hand tied carpets (shipped free to your home address duty-free). In the end, it was a great way to spend a day of our vacation in Spain, and check off another continent from our travel goals. Dan WI, USA

A Remarkable Tour - Do not let the cost of the tour intimidate you. After we rationalized that we (2 women) were not comfortable taking on touring Morocco on our own we signed up for it. We were picked up at the front door of our apartment in Malaga and driven by private van to Tarifa (the port for the ferry to Tangier) and were met in Tangier by our endearing tour guide, Ali. Throughout the whole day we never felt our safety was challenged. The rest of the day was completely arranged and handled by him. Ali narrated historic facts about everywhere we toured. We were immersed in local architecture, fabulous meals, a camel ride, cave tour, escorted to Berber markets and rug maker. I left feeling I had truly experienced the flavor of Tangier. But, be aware that if you arrive in Tangier from Spain (where the spirit of tipping is minimal) that spirit does not carry over to Morocco. We later were advised that tipping in Morocco is similar to the United States and were embarrassed that we came unprepared to tip appropriately. If given the opportunity we will definitely return to tour more of Tangier with Ali and with additional cash to tip.

Best Day Trip Ever - Due to the relatively low number of prior reviews, my wife and I took a chance on this luxury day trip to Tangier from Malaga. I’m glad we did. It far exceeded our expectations. The personal treatment was tremendous. The communication was great. We were contacted by the tour owner through WhatsApp a couple of days prior to our trip. He asked us if there was anything that we were looking to do in addition what was outlined on the tour highlights. He also forwarded us a PDF of our ferry tickets. On the morning of our adventure, we were promptly greeted by our driver at our hotel in Malaga. He was very enthusiastic. We stopped along the way for a quick coffee stop. The ferry transfer was easy. As a reminder, you’ll need to bring your passport. You’ll have it stamped once at the ferry terminal, and then again aboard the ferry. One tip while aboard the ferry, people immediately lined up to have their passport stamped. I would recommend getting it stamped midway through the trip after the line has shortened. In Morocco, we were greeted by Hassan, aka Coco Cola, who was holding a sign with our name on it. We also had a friendly personal driver for our time in Morocco. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide in Coco Cola. He was super knowledgeable about Morocco and sprinkled in a few surprises throughout our tour. He made us feel safe in an unfamiliar country. If you book this trip, I would highly recommend requesting Coco Cola. The highlight of the day was riding a camel along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
