Join us for a magnificent journey through the history-filled isle of Tahiti. Explore the beautiful flora, fauna, and breathtaking waterfalls, archaeological sites and caves. Pay homage to famous seafarers, Captain Cook and Captain Bligh, by visiting the landmarks dedicated to them at Venus point.
Marvel at the lighthouse constructed by the father of Robert Louis Stevenson. There’s ample time arranged at each halt, followed by an opportunity to stroll along the stunning black sand beach.
Choose between a private tour (minimum 4 participants) or a shared one.
The half-day tour features six notable locations:
- Marae arahurahu
- Maraa’s grottoes
- Botanical garden at Vaipahi
- Faarumai Waterfall
- Venus Point & the Lighthouse
- Taharaa viewpoint or the blowhole, depending on the weather.
For Le Tahiti resort guests, the pick-up time for the morning tour is moved up to 7:15am from 7:40am owing to traffic.

Excellent introduction to Tahiti - The best part about this tour was Fabrice’s commentary during the drive around the island. The sights were interesting (especially the marae and the botanical garden) but we learned so much about Tahiti and Polynesian life and culture from Fabrice.

AWESOME - Our tour guide was Excellent. We traveled in a small group and laughed a lot with him. He was patient, humorous and insightful.
He showed us his joy by sharing about his beautiful island. He was passionate about the sites and information while allowing us time to take pictures and ask questions.

Best Guide and Best Tour of Papeete - Not everyday that the tour guide is the highlight of the tour, but on this trip, our guide, Antoinette was as much a part of the tour as the tour itself. She was early and let the tour go long to make sure we saw everything she wanted to show us. By far the best tour of the 14 days we spent on a cruise. We asked her upfront if she knew of a place to do some quick shopping for things to take back with us, and she knew the perfect place at one of our stops. Got everything we wanted in the little shop and the people there were wonderful. Besides seeing the best sites, Antoinette knew all the history, gave us the good and the bad about living in Papeete, talked about the current politics with France, etc.

Fantastic tour! - Antoinette was a fantastic tour guide. She did a great job showing us important sights around Tahiti. She shared so much expert knowledge everywhere we went. We never would have learned so much if we had tried to see the sights in our own. I highly recommend this tour!

We saw beautiful sights, visited cultural and historic sites, tasted foods, and all through the day received background and information about everything we were seeing and passing by. Beautiful and easy site seeing around Tahiti Nui - I had a wonderful trip around Tahiti Nui and saw the main attractions around the island. The guide, Vetea, was really nice and easygoing, giving his best for us to have a beautiful experience.
The car ride was smooth and the places we visited were easily accessible by foot from where the car was parked.

A long long tour - Each stop was wonderful but the tour rated 4-5 hours took 6 with no highway problems. What was rated as English took Annette time to translate for one French man for everything she said.
Annette is knowledgeable in plants, history , and the island. I. wished she had not broken off flowers and leaves to show us, merelt pointed them out.
