Its central feature is a vegetable market along the main road - a popular shopping destination for visitors on weekends. Perched on a plateau next to Copthorne Hotel (formerly Equatorial Resort), traders and farmers sell the best of their crops and goods here from morning till evening.

As the market nears closing time, look for great bargains on perishable stock like greens, corn, strawberries, flowers, food stuff and more. Some tourist attractions that lie within the vicinity include Rose Center, Ee Feng Gu and Butterfly Garden

  • Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm - Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm is an apiary at Kea Farm, about 3.5km north of Brinchang town right after Equatorial Resort along the main road. This large bee farm has a spacious shopping gallery, indoor maze for children, vegetable market, mini museum and cafeteria housed within the main building.

Nestled below is the proper bee farm area - a network of hives scattered around a lush garden peppered with cute statues of queen and worker bees.Visitors can access a walk that leads around the garden in a loop while admiring the view of flowers, trees and bee boxes - watch out for stings. • Sungai Palas - Sungai Palas Garden is a tea plantation located in Brinchang about 5km north from town or 2km away from Kea Farm Market. Owned and managed by Boh Tea, it complements their main estate at Habu in Ringlet, featuring its very own tea center, visitor gallery and show factory. Likewise, the Sungai Palas tea garden is also shut up within its own isolated valley away from the main road.

The road in begins at left after the Butterfly Garden, with a large signboard that clearly indicates the way. After short but windy stretch, the view breaks into a magnificent panorama of vast tea fields stretched across the valley and slopes. Follow the road right from the signboard until the end; the Sungai Palas Boh Tea Center is perched on top a small hill.

Our driver will park the car and then travelers have tonwalk up by paved road, or trail through a tea garden that climbs across the slope. Facing the tea center is a garden area planted with lillies, cannas and flowering shrubs; visitors often relax here under the shade of small oak trees. The tea center itself is a spacious complex with fancy bits of modern architecture and design.

From the entrance, a cafe sits left with an overhanging platform for viewing scenery, while right leads through through an exhibition gallery, past the Boh’Ria tea shop, next a video room, and finally ending at a small museum and garden area. An old factory for tea production still functions at the back; it’s open to visitors just like the main Boh tea estate.

Great 2day 1night tour - Saloko was the BEST! He picked us up promptly in KL and made the long drive to Cameron Highlands so enjoyable. We learned all about Malaysia and he even took us to a small village where we met more local people. We had some poor weather, but Saloko made sure that it didn’t affect our trip with some quick itinerary adjustments. Highly recommend this tour :)

Excellent day trip! - My friend and I had a great day trip to Cameron Highlands with Rosman. He is a great driver and tour guide. He has lots of knowledge on the Cameron Highlands area as well as on Malaysia. He was able to answer all of our questions and give plenty of information. We had lunch in a great spot and we really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend Rosman and this day trip.
